I started climbing at the Shwangunks in 1969 and then moved to Yosemite in 1972 to work just for the summer. I was supposed to go back to Connecticut that fall for college but decided to hang out in Camp 4. 30 years later I find it amazing that I am lucky enough to still live and climb in Yosemite.
I started to carry a camera around to capture the climbs we were doing. It was fortunate for me to know and climb with the top Yosemite climbers in the 70's, 80's and 90's which led to many great photo ops. I am playing around with the new Canon Digital system. With instant feedback and the capacity to take over 200 shots on a memory card it has opened another new world to me.
