Big Wall Climbers From El Cap Meadow

Digital photography is my hobby at present. It is a welcome respite from my work in the medical field. I have had a love affair with Yosemite since my first visit in 1977. Several years ago a spotting scope opened up to me the world of big wall climbers. It didn't take long to discover that digital photographs could be taken through the scopes with my Nikon camera. Keep in mind that these climbers are well over a half-mile away and a thousand feet or more above the ground.

When not taking photographs, I let people watch the climbers. Invariably they are amazed and many times they have told me that seeing the climbers was the highlight of their Yosemite visit.
