Man, you stoners can't even be gracious in defeat and admit that y'all got
manhandled by one of the greatest defensive teams in history? Get real!
It would have been even worse if the Denver D hadn't played so well in the
first quarter.

CRAP! Now it's not even a history-making shut-out game, given Denver's score.

Now's it nothing but purely pitiful.

Dirtbag never played football either.

Football is all American.

Dirtbag = terrible American

Hey Werner...

The "Yawn" was a comment on this game..

Not on football, which I have played...

But all the same...

Man, you Hawks fans can't even be gracious in victory and admit that there is NO way that the Hawks are THAT much better. Not ONE pundit or odds-maker (the people that do this for a living, rather than backseat wannabes) even IMAGINED a game like this.

So, Reilly, you really ARE saying that the NFC is THAT much better than the AFC? Or can you just admit that the real Denver team never even showed up? Come on... at least get REAL in your victory.

I'll agree that this is a CLASSIC Manning choke. I even in the back of my mind expected it, and hoped against it. You can even find upthread where I said that Manning might well choke, as he is well known to do.

But I've watched EVERY Hawks game this season, and they just are not THIS good. Period. This is a case of Denver being THIS bad in this particular game. From the very first play, which Seattle had nothing to do with, Denver just hasn't been present and accounted for.

Anybody who has a problem with the NFL's newfound concern with concussions, and the caution now shown toward minimizing head injuries need only listen to the insane sh#t Troy Aikman says all game long. Rambling about nothing, confusing one team name for another, etc.

I have no problems with a good defense, or a good offense, but when one team completely fails to show up, the game is basically no fun to watch.

The only other game I watched this year was with whoever Seattle won against to get to the stuper bowl.

Now that was a game.

Congratulations to Seatlle Seahawks.
Great defense, offense, and special teams.
Great coaching staff led by Pete Carroll.

Really tough for the Broncos. A game to go like this for any team is bad enough in the regular season, but in front of the world it's gotta be really rough.
Otherwise , congrats on a great season nonetheless.

I figured it out.

The real Broncos are starring on tonight's episode of Downton Abbey, and the Downton cast is playing at MetLife stadium wearing orange. Violet, Dowager Countess of Grantham, is at QB.

My hat is off to the Seahawks on a remarkable victory. They earned it and I am humbled.
That said I want to reaffirm what I've said all along.
Win or Lose these past two years with Manning in a Bronco uniform have been some of the most enjoyable seasons for me.

Doritos, Jaguar, and the Clydesdales for the win!
At least some horses showed their stuff.

As a UW Husky letterman I hated Pete for his ability and his teams.
As a Seahawk fan I was real happy to get him.
He is now in an elite trio of coaches who have won the NCAA Championship
and the Superbowl.
