Thinkng back, Lee Harrell was climbing with Pat Callis, Larry Reynolds, Charlie Raymond and others at the time. Pretty sure one of them were with Lee on the Giant Step. I only got to climb with that talented group a few times. Pat had an elegant style. One memorable trip we were doing FAs on the Buttress of Cracks at Suicide -Frustration, Passtime, and Captain Hook as I recall. But, back to Big Rock. Thanks for the recent good bumps, Steve.

Agree with Kieth on his above comments on first ascents. Also active and most likely putting up first ascents during the late 60's early 70's were Phil Haney, Jim Barker, Jack Schure (sp?), John Svenson, Pat Merrill, and Terry Goodiekutes (sp?).
I don't know of anyone who recorded the first ascents.
