Hej Lolli!
a 15 year old who sleeps with another 15 year old is perfectly ok Illegal in California.
In fact, in California consensual sex between an 18 year old and an under 18 year old (unmarried couple) is a misdemeanor.
California Penal Code: Section 261.5 Unlawful Sexual Intercourse
Section 261.5.
(a) Unlawful sexual intercourse is an act of sexual intercourse accomplished with a person who is not the spouse of the perpetrator, if the person is a minor. For the purposes of this section, a "minor" is a person under the age of 18 years and an "adult" is a person who is at least 18 years of age.
(b) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is not more than three years older or three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(c) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is more than three years younger than the perpetrator is guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony, and shall be punished by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by imprisonment in the state prison.
Edit: locker, in California that was clearly a felony, greater than 3 years age difference. At least by current law.

@ LEB's question about email. Typically an employee will bring it to my attention as I'm often not in the office loop of any jokes or banter. The issue is not about what the sender feels is offensive it's about how someone receiving it feels. Beyond trying to maintain good working relationships among teams there is a legal risk associated with hostile work environments and sexual harassment. Obviously ST is far from a group working together, my only earlier point was if one wouldn't say something to someone's face or speak in front of a group with the same content why not honor that here? Just human nature I suppose afteall hypocrisy is a human condition.

It's stupid to try to forbid them and believe that hormone filled young ones would heed that. They never do, anywhere. It's better to make sure they do it safely.
We have, of course, teenage pregnacies too, but not as in countries which believe in not educating their children in how to protect themselves. That education also gives them confidence in not accepting to be used or taken advantage of.
Why are most European countries so sensible and we are so backwards? This discussion should move to the religion/politics/unbelievable idiocy thread.

31? That's impressive. I don't know how many I can do. I'll get back to you on that. Probably not 31 though.

Apparently the "ignore the interloping non-climbing trolling nurse" rule NEEDS to be written, posted and observed.
As for "porn", learn your etymology.
Pornography comes from the Greek, "pornos", female slaves kept for sexual purposes, and refers to the visual depiction of such.

The age of consent in India was 10 before English rule.
Our Saxon brethren raised the age to 12.

Good post, Lois. ... not sure how intently the British attempted to discern the intricacies of Indian culture. Perhaps more than we give them credit.
The Age of Consent Act, 1891, was a legislation enacted in British India on 19 March 1891 which raised the age of consent for sexual intercourse for all girls, married or unmarried, from ten to twelve years in all jurisdictions.

Since this thread has now switched to consensual sex... In Oregon the authorities will not prosecute "under age sex" unless there is more than a two year age difference. So, 14 and 17 not allowed; 12 and 14... that's okay.
I did not make that up... that was told to me by a friend who is a local police Captain. He might be stretching the truth but he said there are so many "cases" of teen sex that they could never keep up with them.
Now back to that rules thing...

perswig... Inexcusable for a mathematician. So sorry... I was not focused. To worried about Newt in the White House I guess.
I meant to write (and I changed it) 12 and 14.
