I don't know about you, but I see opportunities to practice all those virtues pretty much all day long, every day I'm out there, and in a more reality-based environment. Online IS a reality, in my opinion, but it is a quirky one, due to the barrier involved. It's sort of as if we were neighbors with a really high rock wall between us.
A 5.12 rock wall, meaning some of us can scale it and go climbing, to SushiFests, Facelifts and such and actually see "really" meet each other. But most of us just don't climb 5.12, and sort of just stand in various sections of our yards yelling across/over/through/at the rock wall assuming our neighbor can hear what we are saying.....
If someone is so shut-in that "this" is their primary channel of experiencing human interactions(and for some, it probably is), then there are a few steps they need to be taking before they would be able to understand "we are not alone...."

I was NOT pointing out how "ugly" Lois was in her avatar photo! If I'd wanted to do something mean like that--which I've never done in the past about anyone on the Taco and will never do in the future--I would've friggin' SAID IT! "Hey, look how ugly you were 30 years ago! Woohoo!"
Jeeeeeeez! This projection thing you and graniteclimber have going on is bizarre and, as we've seen, rather hurtful.
I was replying to her insinuation that I was somehow defective for not having a husband by joking about she and her husband looking "stuffed" like the friggin' BEAR in the photo! Stuffed like a bear. Not ugly. Not grotesque. STUFFED. As in "UNREAL".
It's so ludicrous, I can't even believe I'm having to explain myself again. No one really believed it was a photo of the LEB poster anyway...I know I didn't. But whether it was her or not, I WAS NOT CALLING HER UGLY. Not even insinuating it. Understand?
You and graniteclimber want to be pissed about the post-blocking software and project that disgruntlement on to me--that's what I'm seeing. Fine. Have fun. It makes you the same sort of db you're labeling me...only--as so many Tacos have pointed out--hypocrites on top of it.
Now can we let this damn thing die please.

I would like to give my profound, heart-felt thanks to kunlun_shan for starting this thread,
and Nate Ricklin for his final masterpiece - an easily configurable script which turned Hell into Heaven.
It's amazing how a small handful of self-absorbed posters had such a negative impact on my enjoyment of the forum in recent times;
I reached the point to where I was spending less and less time here - my annoyance threshold had grown thin, the distractions tedious.
But with the script (and the 5 names I've added to it) it's like reuniting with an old friend.

The other day, checking out ST from a workstation without Greasemonkey installed, I noticed the LEB has started trolling again. The Greasemonkey script is no longer available from the link upthread, so I'm archiving the code here. Huge thanks to Nate for writing it.
