Went swimming today. I'm now officially over the 49ers loss.
Thank you 70 degree weather for making my swim comfortable in just a shorty wet suit. It was a shorty swim too.

I wonder sometimes how much fans of AFC teams pay attention to NFC teams.

The Patriots' secondary was atrocious. If you think those guys are gonna
have that kind of day against the Legion of Doom and Pete Carrol y'all are nuts.
Ask Drew Brees. And Drew Brees was able to scramble some. Manning needs a walker.

That's because the NFC is a league of cretins.

well... at least you confirmed the obvious (about not paying attention).
Osprey has a good post.
Dinking and dunking on Seattle is not a good idea. Keep sending guys over the middle on quick slants and the Donkeys will be using RB's as wide receivers. The B in LOB stands for BOOM. The middle in front of Cam is a bad place to be.
Haha.... good one Philo!
BTW Mad... you really didn't make a case for Kap being able to move the ball through the air on Sea. 156 yards doesn't support your assertion.

Perhaps. But my point is that if Kap can move the ball 156 yards through the air, then Manning & co. is going to do far better than that.
Will it be enough? Who knows? All I've been saying is that the idea that Denver is going to get just destroyed is, well, "their demise is a bit overstated."
It's going to be a TOUGH game for both teams!

well to be fair 156 is only the 4th worst game of his season.
And Henne did hang 235 on them, Schaub 355, Luck 229, Palmer 258, Ryan 172, Kap 175, Eli 156, Brees 309. so yeah... it can happen. A QB can throw for more than 200 against them.
As good as the Denver offense is this isn't a great match up for them. Kap threw Sherms way twice because he's that good. So consider that side of the field shut down. Seattle probably has the best depth on the DL you'll find. They rotate guys situationally and with a statue back there his OL better hold up or he'll be on his back a lot.
Seattle spied Kap because he's that dangerous. They won't do that one play with Manning. That means the LB gets to drop into coverage and that then means the best safety in the league gets to really be free back there.
And those aforementioned slant patterns. Bad idea if the donkey's want to keep their starting WR's in the game.
Defense wins and this seattle defense is turning into one of the best ever.

Defense beats Offense.
This has been proven damn near every time. Seattle has one of the best, if not the best D in the league. Denver has hardly that.
Denver has the most potent offense in the league. Seattle ain't too far behind. Especially if Percy Harvin is cleared. You do the math.
I'd love to see Manning and Co. shred Sherman and the flying rats. Just don't think it will happen.

Boy that Jim Harbaugh sure is a horse's ass isn't he? Act like you've been there dipsh*t
I've been pulling for the Seahawks since the Jim Zorn days, and would love to see them finally get it. One thing they do have is hunger, they've never won it. Will Pete Carroll come up with a better game plan than Bellichunk? Pretty likely.
Pretty piss poor coaching in that game, going for it on 4th down within field goal range is stupid. Especially only down 2 scores. Bad play calling in general. I do think Carroll is a better coach than Fox. Then again Manning is the real coach.

Good news for the Donkeys: Knowshon has no broken ribs and probably will play.
Bad news for the Seachickens: Sherman needs to cover D. Thomas, Eric Decker and Julius Thomas, along with Knowshon---all at the same snap of the ball. Demarius Thomas is a BIG dude, and so is Julius Thomas. Prediction: there's gonna' be some hard hittin' goin' on!!

I can't believe I just read that, care to compare stats?
It's not that Seattle "ain't too far behind" , its more like they can't be seen in the rear view mirror. To say that the Seahawks offense is anywhere near the Broncos is ludicrous.
You could more easily claim Denver's defense is only just slightly behind Seattle's.
You do the math.

The real irony is that the grammatical errors in the "critique" (and subsequent post) are far more egregious than that spelling error.

I was surprised that the Patriots were able to hold the Broncos to less than 30 points... given the numbers the Broncos put up during the season, and the fact that it was a good weather.
The Seahawks have a much better defense than the Patriots, and will probably get pressure on Manning without blitzing... they are also more physical than the Broncos.
I would guess the SB will be relatively low scoring, in much worse weather, and be competitive. The Seahawks O can probably score enough to beat the Broncos...
It will be interesting to see the outcome (I'll probably be climbing that day though... no dogs in this fight).
