So beautiful and so few people.

Mostly I don't mind the crowding in Japan, I've gotten used to it.

Until I see what the alternatives are.

Norway kind of blew everything else out of the water when we traveled through those northern countries. No offense to the Swedes :) It's a killer place to visit with family.

Late January, the sun rises in Tromso for the first time since November. It stayed up only briefly, but a heartwarming sign that once again, winter would not last forever.
