Witnessed by gym employee who signed document.

Joseph, I used one of those scales a few times.
My body fat content changed 4% in one day.
They might not be perfect in all ways.

Hey Riley, if it helps - it looks like you're down 10 pounds from last years weigh in.

Good on ya! That's more than I can say!

I'll cover you for a junior Riley. How about if either of us does not make it. The loser has to pick up the tab for dinner (good dinner) at our next meeting. I figure thats a $50 or so bet.

Good luck everyone!

One of my favorite songs (Fatso by the Story...latin beat):

This is the last time, this time I will win
It took a long time to gain this weight,
It will take a long time to lose it again

I will have only water for a week, then maybe carrots,
and celery, and if I lose then Sunday I'll have brown rice

Because someone will adore me when my ribs show clearly
and I'm thin even when I sit down
Someone will admire my gorgeous arms and legs
when I'm only one hundred pounds

I bought a doctor's scale on sale today
It takes up half the bathroom, and it's really ugly,
but I know it's going to help me reach my goal

I get so dizzy when I stand up fast, and I don't feel like
dancing but I know I'm gonna do it this time, for sure

Now I walk past the fatsos eating doughnuts,
with cream filling, icing, jimmies, and I am so glad I am not
like them

Because someone will adore me when my ribs show clearly
and I'm thin even when I sit down
Someone will admire my gorgeous arms and legs
when I'm only one hundred pounds

Last night I dreamed I ate a chocolate cake, and when I
woke up I was sure it was true so I weighed myself just to
make sure and drank a diet coke

I want to be skinny. Cha-Cha-Cha.

goatboy, sent you email, let's get a beer or go climb this week. I weighed in at 199.8.

As most of you guys probably know, we all carry a good deal of energy in liver and muscles in water soluble glycogen. The first 5 or 6 lbs we lose comes right back with a few big meals; not as fat, just stocking the stores back up. I often lose 8 to 10 lbs in a weekend of climbing (dehydration plus glycogen depletion), but it's back by wed. I'm shooting for a real 10 lbs lost.

Man it was nice eating like a pig from Tgiving til Xmas

So far I'm the only one that's signed up for the Taco Tub-O's training site
You people are taking this seriously, right?
http://www.mapmyride.com/community/groups/142685588
Once you sign up you can keep track of any exercise you do,
then either share with the group or keep it to yourself.
If you go for a run or bike ride you can
map it out and show it to the group.
If you go to the gym or out climbing
for the day just enter the Time it took you to accomplish
the activity and it will calculate the calories consumed
based on you weight and height. It's not perfect but it will help.
There is also a Training page that shows the current leader in calorie loss
and some other cool stuff you will figure out on your own.

Maybe we can move the fatty talk over there
and not grease up this forum with our...

just a suggestion...

First off what booze has the most kick with the least calories? Looks like Milwaukee's Best Light is the beer of choice weighing in at 98 cals and 4.5% alc.

Salad,

Good work, I suffered through the evening with no snacks and worse yet no beer.

I started drinking Green Tea and stopped eating chips and have lost 5 pounds in two weeks. I also have a calendar with pen next to scale so I can better track me lardage for my El Cap comeback.

I thought I read that on the internet one time.

i'm not doing the diet challenge because i believe you have to find a way of eating and exercising that is a balance and a LIFESTYLE that will work for all the rest of your days.

i've lost a lot of weight but i was pretty big and i'm trying to lose a lot more, too. i accept that no matter how much i lose, i'll still be fat to some people, and that some people won't acknowledge how hard i've worked and continue to work on my body, cuz it's not "cool" to kick it w/a fat girl, but i refuse to lose so much that i look like an anorexic 12 year old even if that is our society's standard of beauty.

Standing Strong - the best way to look at it is to use the Diet Challenge as a starting point rather than an end to itself. Just a way to motivate the next step in the process to a healthier life.
