Garbage trucks? What garbage truck comes within 20 decibels of those phukking Harleys?
They should be unilaterally banned from all parks.
If you spend the night on a wall or have an unplanned bivy up-valley (i.e. not El Cap), you will be familiar with waking up to the metal clang of dumpsters as the garbage trucks make the rounds. That can be pretty annoying.
I can't argue with you on the Harley's during the day.

What garbage truck comes within 20 decibels of those phukking Harleys? How are those things still legal? Climb 5000 feet above the North Cascades Highway, and you are guaranteed to hear delberately-loud motorcycles driven by idiots puttering away on the road below.

seano, most Harleys are not legal. There just aren’t any cops who want to uphold the law.
And that goes for NPS LEOs.

You're a fool.
LEO needs a sound decibel meter calibrated for giving a ticket for an illegal sound ordinance that will hold up in court.
There are no decibel meters in Yosemite LEO vehicles.
That is why there is no real enforcement of for this type of sound nuisance .....

They can afford night vision goggles to go after dirtbags but can't buy several sound level meters and use them on crowded weekends? Not hard to figure out when motorcyclists are in the valley...

While you're waiting around for all that to happen you should try hiking out to Tehipite Valley. Or just go literally anywhere else in the Sierra Nevada. After a few summers of exploring you might even lose interest in "fixing" Yosemite.
Yup!
Many people complain about Yosemite not being remote and too easy for access, but how many of you been to Tehipite and climbed at least once? Not many. If yosemite was remote, only a few of you would ever go.
Two trips into Tehipite (countless trips to remote areas) for me and have not seen a single soul in that valley. So check it out broz! Or keep complaining....
My advice is to stay away from places that you do not like. At this point destroying all the infrastructure in Yosemite would probably cause more harm to the nature than good. And asking for more hiking trails??? Where? There is a trail along every rim, along every river and almost along every cliff. How many more are necessary??
Few shits fron last week...stay away!

1. Youre right.
2. Why wont you people stay away.
3. Theres f*#king mosquitos already.
4. Theres poop and cigarette butts everywhere, youre better off not coming.
6. The roads are always being worked on, construction union workers are constantly on strike and always seem to be peacefully demonstrating.
5. The government shutdown horsetail falls until Starbucks arrives to foot the water bill in the drought due to Shitmark legally denying responsibility.
