It appears that I did not get a confirmation. My email about the same generated an automated response saying facelift camping is full. I quess I am in limbo pending my position on the waitlist.

Looks like I will be going to Yosemite that weekend with a friend....
Decision was made just today...
Long after the camping is filled up.....

Hope we can find a place in TM or Valley central....

Happy to report that I have my confirmation and will be in my usual spot in YP D. It was an email error.
Thanks to Allyson who took on the monumental task of managing camping requests for the masses. She's done an outstanding job. I know I'm not the only one who appreciates her efforts.

I am bummed.
I was doing a self imposed intardnet detox intervention and missed the signup.
The only sites available are in Crane Flat.
Sure I love the work I do at Facelift but I also thrive on the comradeship.
So I'm in a quandary.
To Facelift or not to Facelift, that is the question.

Yosemite National Park unveils 400-acre expansion
Ackerson Meadow features wetlands and rolling hills that are home to endangered wildlife, park officials quoted by AP news agency said.
The land, on Yosemite's western boundary, was bought for the park by conservation group the Trust for Public Land for $2.3m (£1.7m).
Yosemite National Park covers about 1,200 sq miles of mountainous scenery.
It attracts millions of visitors every year and celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2015.
