The biggest problem that I see is that he is in New Zealand. Aside from blocking him from the site, your avenues of recourse are minimal.
I would however attempt to find out whether he has any tangible assets or an employer. For example, does he do this sort of thing at work or using work computers.
If he does, a letter from your attorney to his employer would be beneficial to the ST.

I dunno man... I don't blame RJ or CMac for creating a monster, the rules are lined out and you know if you walk the line. No need to open dialogue, this isn't kindergarten.
Please don't put words in my mouth. Never did i say anyone but Matt was responsible for his actions. All i did say is nothing was done to dissuade him other than whack a mole.
I saw Matt try and make a change over the past couple weeks. He always seems to pop up in the threads i'm interested in and he was actually trying to be non-abrasive for a change. He posted up a couple cool tr's too. But he got whacked again..
I know the reason why.. It's the rockjox effect... He wasn't welcome but he kept coming back anyways.. They let Burchey back in why not him? So they whacked Burch again too...
It's all good till there's a problem..
Matt has repeatedly complained about the lack of communication.
I've seen him say some pretty racist stuff too.. So i'm not saying he's innocent by any means.
Obviously some people just won't listen to reason. It would seem that Matt is one of them..... And it may be too late.
But it doesn't hurt to try.

I like how Matt the stonemason kiwi climber of Maori descent who can't seem to spell words with more than 2 syllables has beaten the ST system and required them to write new code that he, in turn proceeded to dismantle almost instantly. Here is a guy who probably doesn't know how to CC an email that has been dubbed as some sort of super hacker, LOfukkinL
Maybe the owners should put a little more effort into running the site. I'm not saying moderation necessarily but a little effort to improve the user experience would go a long way.
There are some really smart, perceptive, observant people here who have provided lots of quality ideas that are, from my observations instant adjustments that could improve the quality of ST with minimal effort almost instantly.

I know it's a business and that doing more work skews the work:profit ratio but if it seemed like the owners gave a fuk about the ppl that pay their bills then maybe those ppl would give a little more of a fuk too rather than feeling exhausted from trying to participate in a climbers website.
