hey there say, todd.... i LOVE this picture...

we always say: there is nothing like a dad and son..

but really, it is always said: there is nothing like a mom and son, mom and daughter, dad and daughter, and ohhhhhhh my! the list goes on...

:)

thanks for sharing your family time!

note to hard rock:

as to your quote, this part...:

They had to keep saying No to things and trying to make what they could work.

thanks for sharing your whole story, looking back, you have a fruitful garden to see, when before, you only saw the ploughing and the seeding...

and 'hard rocks' that you needed to manuever around, ;)

What a trooper. It was very surprising to me how much I loved my son since the day he was born. I hadn't expected it, having never felt it quite like that.

Looks like you have a great family, Todd. I wish that I knew ya. Everyone else but me does apparently.

Seriously, kids are tough. They are getting to grow up like I did, playing in the boonies, chasing lizards and snakes and all that.

Von looks like he has an amazing outlook on life! Conquer CP! I have done exercise therapy with CP and it is a tough foe to crack but quality of life can be accomplished!

We are talking to a surgeon about an operation late summer on Von's leg......lengthen the tendons and muscles to straighten his leg, give him more mobility, and more flexability........9 months in a cast afterwards.......(he wears a leg-brace everyday anyways, so he's used to something on his leg...).....They recommend this operation at age 7.....if you wait after that, then they have to mess with his bone structure too.....Any surgeons out there familiar with this procedure......
