All to often ineligible officers are allowed to be on the force.

I would bet $100 that these guys can't even pass their own departments mandatory physical fitness test.

Fattrad I have read your post in the past
You are a pathetic hipocrit.
You don't know a thing about me.
Lets keep it that way.
You wouldn't know who I train; because I wouldn't tell a person like you.

Ron I never took a side.
All too often The police have a theory of us against them.
The community develops a theory of them against us.
I have my own theory. Run while I still can.
I am a good samaritan.
Had I been there I would have done what I could to help the poor fellow.

Is that your answer as to why are you are talking to me?
Speak for your self.
I want to know why you are talking to me.
I ask why and you show me a picture of a jacket.
Anyone can get one of those jackets.
I want to know why you are talking to me.

Were you a full time cop or were you some kind of weekend warrior, Fattrad? You sure show off that certificate and shiny jacket a lot. I guess I would expect at least a couple of snapshots of you and your buds giving the thumbs up over something.

Inquiring minds would like to know. I could have my attorney run a nexus search on you, but that is too low of a blow. I ran myself once. There was this traffic ticket that never went away. 15 years ago or something.

Now you're saying I am a lier.
And you are telling a lie by saying no one can get those patches.
Sure we can.
All I have to is go down to the station and put in an application.
Do me a favor. Go suck your thumb.

Well, when I watch the video, and your defense of the police, it leads me to that thing you told me about why you don't like democrats or liberals or wha wha.

The second of two things was "moral relativism" IIRC.

To any normal human being, this is on its face ammoral. You say it isn't. Is this moral relativism coming from your skewed perspective?

If that were a gang of palestinians beating up an Israeli, I bet your blood pressure would go up.

Seriously. Just curious. Feel free to straighten me out. You know that I listen to other's viewpoints.

No Fattrad.
He was asked to relax and it did not end there.
The beating continued.
Those involved continued to beat the hepless person down.
When if fact the guy wasn't even strong enough to resist even if he tried.
If they wanted to make an arrest all they had to do was issue a ciatation for a court date. And wait untill then to place the young man in a facility
and offer a program to encourage his lifestyle on to the right path.
In fact they didn't even have to hand cuff him.
He did not even commit a crime.

I live in a city of 150,000 or so. We also have the state mental hospital here, and it used to be the norm to have various characters wandering around town. Some became absolute fixtures, and everybody knew who they were. They weren't a problem.

A few years ago, the state gutted mental health spending. They are down to a dozen beds or something crazy.

The cops never beat them up. We have a very professional police force. We have our own police training, and the standards are high. They have to have the equivalent of a couple of years of college.

So far, they have been great.

Unfortunately the highly mentally ill aren't a fixture around town anymore. I don't know what happened to them. Probably freezing to death beneath a bridge during the winter.

I started the original thread. Deleted it because it went too far off topic and went sutpid.

Johntp deleted it. He said it got out of hand and got weird. I think that he did a wise thing. Some threads just get to unwieldy and either harsh or off topic, so a fresh start can be good.

Edit: Oops.. posting at the same time.

Moosie nails it. The OP thread went way political and lost the intent of my thread relavent to what went down. Too many posters were bashing each other on political biases rather than addressing the topic. There was too much animosity being posted which had nothing to do with this travesty. So I deleted it.

A perfectly handled arrest, I have been involved in three just like it(with better outcomes). No excessive force, no intent to injure, handled to perfection.

None of you libs is mentioning how one officer asks the suspect to relax three times.

I wonder if toxicology is back, all three of mine were on PCP. The most interesting one happened in Malibu, the beach team was enjoying a leisurely breakfast at outdoor hamburger place when a overweight Hispanic male comes running northbound on PCH NAKED. He's yelling "manos", "manos", "manos", well the eight of us had a multiple minute struggle with the nice man, later found to be under the influence of PCP.

I just lost all respect for you. Toxicology indicates he was clean. Your post pisses me off so much. What the frick does it matter what he is saying in what language? He is being beaten to death.

Edit: Did you listen to his cries? Did you look at the video tapes? I could go on but there is no point.

These cops need to do some hard time. Hopefully justice will be served - and hopefully a warning to other out of control cops.

Check out this incident from http://www.fullertoncops.com/. Some of these guys might be qualified to work the Colombia secret service detail:

Fullerton Police Officers Suspended For Farting In Unconscious Woman's Face

April 2003 - Four Police officers in Fullerton have been suspended after humiliating a woman they had been called to help. The officers believed that the woman had attempted to commit suicide, upon arriving at the woman's house she was apparently unconscious.

One of the officers is said to have squatted next to the woman's face and farted saying: "This ought to wake her up."
