Pud, my thoughts exactly.

If you only expect the worst, that's what you'll get. All this vitriolic spewing instead of analyzing the situation makes me sick.

We've all been in unrequited love/like situations. If you don't like it, you must change it. Sometimes you must change you.

Janet,

In climbing parlance that would be like an R/X-rated (dangerous) climb where on getting to the crux you find you don't like the way it all looks or feels and so back down off it. You typically never feel great about having done so and keep getting a nagging feeling you probably could have sent it if you'd stuck with it just a little longer. But in the end when you get that feeling it's almost always better that you've ended up hanging out by the fire with a beer instead...

Been there, Janet. Oh yes. I think there's quite a few R grade guys there at the least.

That said, I think a lot of them don't know they are doing that. I think most people do what they think is right or okay but in fact it is not.

Sad that the aruba the aruba thing had to happen.

"Even if it's as simple as bad breath - a turn-off is a turn-off, isn't it?"

Right on!

Melissa quoted snippiegrrrl and agreed:

Funny this came up. My sister was dating theis really nice guy. He as a friend of mine. She wa a little unhappy wiht the ralationship at the time. She complained that he had sticky lips. I said why don't you just tell him to brush his teeth more often? She did just that. They have 3 kids and have been married almost 20 years.

Touche, girls.

Klimatron, the point is that this thread is way over your head.

Don't fret over it.
