Did he tell them they should have stayed in Africa if they weren't going to behave themselves?
Why not listen for yourself...

Thanks for your posts.
When Mayor Nutter says "sense and nonsense cannot coexist in the same place, in the same city, in the same world". I'm not sure what he means. Reality exists, whether we understand it or not. There's only sense - when we don't understand it, we call it nonsense. Maybe better to strive to understand why it exists, than to just say it can't exist.
His advice for children in poverty - "read a book, don't be stupid". I've never had my children respond to me telling them not to be stupid - it has always taken more work than that.
His advice for black fathers - "take care of your children - all of them .. if you were there doing what you should be doing then she wouldn't be there with those other guys taking care of your children .."
Exactly - that's exactly the perspective that we should all have. Don't blame the victim - the mother (or people in poverty in general). If the people with the resources and moral responsibility to provide a better environment for those mothers (or people in poverty in general) would do so, then they wouldn't have to live life the way they do. He's saying that it's not their fault - the mothers (or people in poverty in general) - it's our fault for not doing our job. That's well said - it allows us to clearly see and accept a specific example of how people's environment affects their actions, so that we can expand our thinking and apply it to people in poverty in general.
"Immaculate conception" - no - black poverty was not created by immaculate conception. Who's responsibility is that?
I think he hits the nail on the head when at 11:20 he says "if you need help, we have help for you, Department of Human Services, .. and many other social service agencies .." Maybe that will help increase support for preventative help for people in poverty, but I guess I'm not holding my breath.
I guess I missed where he connected welfare and inner city youth.

If anyone is counting blue is a bigoted hick who don't know no better. I think this why someone said "forgive them for they don't know shit!"
Better in Africa is what one racist prick once wrote... my question is where do we send Blewme? Fact is, nowhere else in the world could possibly raise up a kid to be dumbass like the good old USA.
When has idiotic, bigoted racism been proven to be valid?
Here's the thing... I like to run a test when I see dumb shite blow's drivel.... What if he got his way? What if, tomorrow morning the US awoke to find no African-Americans anywhere?
What then?
Does the crime go down?
Does the republican party have anyone else to demonize?
Oh, yeah, there is the fall back of "The Mexicans".
Run test again, shall we?
Tomorrow morning America awakes to find no Mexicans anywhere in the US.
What then?
How much better doe your world look now?
Have all your problems gone away with all the non-whites?
Taken to a slight extreme, your ideas don't hold water...
But I guess that's the point of a troll.
Its doesn't have to make any sense at all...

Re-read my post you and Wes keep distorting, idiot.
I asked Wes a question. It wasn't a statement. I never said I didn't want black people here.
But in your sick and hate-filled desire to slander me, you will neglect to see that.
I simply pointed out that the black youth today have many more opportunities here in America than they ever would have had in Africa.
And yeah, slavery sucked. But I would never do that. Why am I still liable for that after generations of their freedom? Why am I supposed to feel guilty for marauding bands of lazy inner-city kids that destroy property and steal other peoples' sh#t?
Same thing in Britain. A bunch of white, lazy, welfare-brats looting stuff from productive, respectable people.
Sickening.

Another thing...
If I'm such a black-hater, why is my favorite new House Congressman Rep. Allen West? Why do I support Herman Cain for prez?
Why did I say the mayor of Philly was a good man, as well as Bill Cosby?

A quick rundown of the posts on the first couple of pages:
Blue posts idiot bigotry
Wade calls the troll
Nature chimes
Blue bumps because he's lonely
Then bumps again after a second though, and to get the number of posts up by one
ms55401 calls it like they see it
RickyD points out a truth that blue can't even fathom
Then there's a stroke-fest between Mangy Peasant and bluw where they exchange hand jobs and ass slaps with god in the middle of it all.
Ricky D make another valid point which blow would never understand, mainly because its more than a single lined statement.
More handjob from mangy p
Moosie finds god and find the truth about religious people
kunlun_shan slides in from left field
Blues stumbles and doesn't make sense, then gets lost in a dictionary definition?
MangyP poses questions too with too much thought need to reach blowey
Gary poses questions too with too much thought need to reach blowey
Bluw tries desperately to boost the post count on his bigot thread, stroking his ego.. 3 times??
Gary brings on the shame with a call for a clue to blue
Inner city is in the outer limits
Blue strokes himself, mumbling into his beer
healyje brings on a chart
Blwho mumbles
fatty tries fruitlessly to egg blue into a froth
healyje gives tax advise
bleau mumblews
healyje gives more taxes
Gary points out repuke shortcomings
aft takes a look at the numbers and can't make sense of it
gary hears crickets
fatheads on to something in the corner with himself
blow tries to call "OFF-TOPIC" in the middle of a vastly off-topic thread?
and it falls apart from there
name calling, trolling, not even interesting pointless chatter keep the thread on the front page of a Climbing Forum?
Shame bluesy, shame

Now there is an intelligent, and honest man. I wasn't talking about color. Not until I pointed out the fact that the mob-lootings that the mayor in Philly addressed were specifically targeted to inner-city blacks.
That was the gist of this thread. It just so happened all the youths in Philly mobs were black. That's why I'm glad a respected black official sttod up and shouted their asses down! A white person would have been shouted down as a racist. Like me in this thread.
It ain't color-based. Look at Britain and their riots.
It's everything to do with welfare and people thinking the gov't owes them something or the notion that it's okay to not have a job and provide for yourself. You can just go take it from 'rich-folk' who actually happen to be middle-class working people.
The sad part is that this behavior actually sends these fools into a further downward spiral of raised costs of goods, jailtime, and more welfare......
EDIT:

bluering - I think you might misunderstand what the mayor is saying.
When he says to black fathers "take care of your children - all of them .. if you were there doing what you should be doing then she wouldn't be there with those other guys taking care of your children .."
He's saying we should all take responsibility for our actions and the affect that our actions have on others. He's saying not to blame the victim for being a victim.
Who f*#ked who and created black poverty? Who is black poverty's baby daddy? What kind of a baby daddy are they? Do they blame the victim for their response to that poverty, or do they take responsibility for the mess that they created, and try to improve it by offering support? The mayor is saying that we should be a responsible baby daddy - not just ignore the problem or throw money at it, but actively participate in helping to fix what we screwed up.
He said "if you need help, we have help for you, Department of Human Services, .. and many other social service agencies .."
I'm with the mayor on this one.
