I'm not arguing that, Mimi- I'm only observing that you and Skip, for all of your ferocious belief that AC is evil-incarnate, keep posting over and over and over....people who really don't give a sh#t about someone else don't waste their time on them.

Crowley posts a hundred asinine posts a day. One every few minutes. All of them ad hominen attacks on others. You can't turn your back on that, and ignore it, without looking foolish.
Go after Crowley first, before you bag on Mimi for her dozen or so ( on topic ) posts.

I have to disagree with you on this one apogee. Some people do overwhelm a forum and its not that easy to ignore them. I don't like those apps that block people because sometimes the threads go off on tangents that you end up not being able to follow. I would prefer that people self police, but I realize that some wont. Matt and I have had this discussion more then once. I like him, I just don't agree with his decision to harass some people because he believes their political positions are dangerous. But then I also don't like how some other people behave. There has been a fair amount of pot/kettle on this forum, including from me. I'm trying to change, but that doesn't mean others don't get tired of being called names.
And its not just a stoopid online forum. Lots of good has come out of it. People have connected. People have helped each other and Community has been built in part because of supertopo. I don't want to get sappy about it, but I enjoy this place. Its been a godsend since my health went south. Errrr.. Maybe I need to head south.
Crowley.. Ease up.. Same goes for the rest of you. Good night everyone. Don't kill each other.

I know Matt. But you do harass people and I understand why you think its necessary. The neocon repubs did mess this country up and it amazes me that some people still don't get that. If I were a republican I would be trying very hard to understand that. I just think that beating them over the head doesn't really work.

Skip.. Crowley voices his objection by attacking, because he is frustrated by peoples willful ignorance and their willingness to spread known lies. For instance Lois' continued belief that Iraq was part of 911. No matter how many different ways we showed her it wasn't true. It took her two full years to realize that Iraq had nothing to do with 911, and she still would make arguments for why we should have gone and fought there based on 911. One day she would say she understood that they had nothing to do with 911, and the next day she would argue that we should have invaded Iraq because they attacked us first on 911. Or her belief that Al queda was in Iraq before we went in there, even though Saddam hated them.
There are tons of examples like this. It gets tiresome showing people over and over and over again that what they believe is just false.

I'm not defending his emails Chaz. You are one of those who said we should just ignore lois if we didn't like her posts. You bragged about being able to do that. So why not follow your own advice and just use your email programs spam filter to label Crowleys emails as spam and stop complaining. I was just suggesting that you do what you wanted us to do with Lois. Why do you have a problem with following your own advice to the rest of us?

You can't realistically compare the two.
