As a relative newcomer to ST, I arrived after AC's ban, and his reputation became something of legend (as least amongst us polititards). With his return, I've come to understand why his personality creates such strong opinion- his laser-sharp cynicism cuts through an awful lot of bullsh#t, and he requires very few words with which to do this. Not a bad quality, in my book.

Skip, are you kidding me? I found/find Lois to be as annoying as anybody else does, and teased her nearly as mercilessly (esp. the HWD charade), but at the same time engaged in actual dialogue with her waaaaaay more than most.
Maybe I'd feel differently if I had been in your shoes, but my experience with AC thusfar shows me he ain't the face of evil like OBL or sumthin'. I may not agree with his tactics sometimes, but by the same token, I'm not crazy about yours, bluering's, or any other number of people here. Still, we are all human beings, and positive reinforcement beats the sh#t outta the negative namecalling every time, if one can find the fortitude to rise above the fray.
Edit: For the record, and I am sure to catch endless sh#t for this...Lois is OK by me.

Luckily for us all AC's learning curve is a flat line.
His practice of the Big Lie
only seems to have a certain force of credibility; because the Liberal masses of Supertopo are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily;
and thus in the primitive simplicity of Left leaning minds they more readily fall victim to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters and assume that
everyone else does the same. Lying is natural for Liberals and they
consider it wrong to openly doubt others statements. This promotes a culture where the suspension of disbelief is SOP and generally seeks to create a utopian existence where you go along to get along.
