The SAR crew was practicing for several hours on Wednesday at the El Cap Meadow. So glad this sounds like a good outcome!

Just want to add my voice into the "Woo hooo" chorus - we needed some good news. Rest up, Frenchman, and come back next year to send!

SAR - best in the world at what they do.

Best wishes to the climber.

"...bang his head pretty bad..." I am just curious if he was wearing a helmet and whether it would make a difference.

He would be dead if he had not worn his helmet.

His helmet was cracked and soaked in blood.

So very happy for the positive outcome. Props to all involved, including Jean. He must be a very strong and tenacious man.
