Batten as LEB, hmm......
SO, LEB starts chiming in to SuperNacho in June '05. Batten-star bails on his long established turf of wreck.com in Jan '05, drops the Batten/scoutmaster handle, going straight. Tries out the alias prowsolo, too - nope, to vainglorius. Something stinks about LEB, but it's not quite Jeff-esque. she started in with inquireis into a slideshow she saw in Yos in 1987 - when did Batten make his climbing forays here? LEB then starts asking about the pins and spikes climbers use, and how does the NPS keep the Captain from brisling with these? That's more like a Batten-style troll.
LEB is a kook, but I'm inclined to think she's jsut some wierd climbing-groupie.
Oh, and who is Juan-Rock-Fuca-Batten?

That aint the Jeff Batten I know.
For one, he is not swarthy enough. The real Batten might be a Mulatto. Sorry Jeff if you are full AM, but you are not *that* dark, so I went with Mulatto. Without seeing his "tight hips" it is hard to tell.

Lois is the real deal and not Juan whatsoever.

That alone is why she will take Juan to the cleaners, she has nothing to hide.
She is not a climbing groupie whatsoever and an honest person with an immense curiosity about a variety of things in life. Honest true people especially on the internet forum are rare, and I would hold them in high esteem.

LEB= mysterious entity who appears to have changed numerous times over the past months. Sometimes feminine and sometimes comes across as masculine and seriously baffling to analyze.

I just read this whole thread and all I got was woried I don't comunicate in a manly enough way.
Hell, Ass, Damn, Fart.
I've got a friend with Aspburgers...its half way rapent in the math comunity. Its kind of an odd thing to diagnose ... its really like mild autism but the lines between normal, aspburgers and autistic are not well defined.
The basic idea as he describes it is that you lack the inbuilt ability to pick up the standard social norms and niceties every one else does and end up haveing to construct your own behavioral guidelines and paterns.
A good example would be how for like a month one summer every time my roomate or I came home my friend would be sitting on our porch...it got kind of anoying but he was unable to pick up on our annoince. Then I moved and the situation solved itself.
For what it is worth I think Juan is real, hillariouse and contributes some good things to this forum.
