Hows he doing up there? Was cloudy down here in the bay, but i figured it was just ground fog run amok this morning.

Nice and dramatic...

I'm planning to call him tonight to see how he's doing all snug in his -40 degree bag on his ledge.

Will post an update.

Just talked to Steve. He's comfortably bivied on El Cap tower with 7 pitches fixed on Genesis. He sounds good, though a bit tired (or buzed?) -he had a rest day today. Tomorrow he's going to punch it and try to hit the Dawn Wall and finish up Thursday morning. He'll rap the route.

Good weather and safe climbing vibes from all!!!!!

By the way - Steve is super thankful for the PSYCH from all of his friends around the virtual campfire here - it is exactly what he was looking for....and hi back Jeff!!

Paul

PS- Mark, there is a topo in one of the older Yosemite wall books - I think it's the one with Pete on the cover on Sunkist(?).

Wow, expedition style. I dig it. Rap the route...interesting. I suppose he'll end up coming down to Mescalito then the Adrift anchors. Thats a lot of rope to mess around with!
