It has been shown that playing music familiar to folks with various mental traumas will activate the neural pathways that were forged when the patient was first loving the familiar Music.
Even folks that did not speak or respond for years would come to life and remember stories from days gone by upon exposure to Their favorite tunes.
The yogis believe that these pathways (aka samscara or psalm scars) are like stream cut valleys in the mind stuff (Chitta) that can easily be cleared of the debris that may fill them, or in the case of injury or disruption to the mental pathways, reconnect and re wire them.

hey there say... just a bump...

holidays are coming--and we sure do not want depression hanging around,
when we can pray for hope, and help perhaps by letting his family know,
we are open to send any cards, if it is not
in the way...

hang in there scott...
you are not forgot...

it's just that we know...
sometimes we got to wait, and let things flow...

but here we are, now...
and how!...

waiting to see whatever your needs may be...
just holler out: 'one, two, three'...

and we'll do our best...
and the rest:

is then up to you...
to climb this through...

'tis near the season, to make sure folks know that they REALLY
are loved and cared for...
in the busy world of day to day stuff, sometimes folks don't
get the chance to let folks know...

hang in there...
may spring bring new hopes... as the new year changes and shifts
to 'new growth'...

get well notices have helped him... ?

Any update on Scott's mental status? There was a reference to him being engaged and focused via facetime. I just haven't seen a real update. I hope he's doing well and it certainly sounds like he's able to engage in a lot of PT so that's good.
