Damn they were flat.... C’mon dodgers, make a series of it!

How about that Sox bullpen? Straight up bringing the heat! Now that Kimbrel and Kelly have found the strikezone there is going to be trouble for the blue crew in those late innings. Looks like a 5 or 6 inning game so get your licks in early.

Edit: just saw that the Sox relivers averaged 98.4 mph last night on their heaters... man, that’s bringing it!!

The Dodgers look overmatched but baseball is a quirky game and anyrhing can happen in a seven game series. The best team doesn’t always win the WS.

I'm pretty sure Roberts is on the take. Looks like the Dodger's have to overcome their own manager as well as the Sox.

Porcello gets the start in LA because he is the best batter among Red Sox pitchers... and he's not a bad pitcher either... though we'll see if the Dodgers will be better at home.

Not that happy with the idea of JD in right field and Mookie at 2nd, it makes sense...

but the fact that it's now a 5 game series where the Sox just need to win 2 takes some of the pressure off, more likely that the Sox win in LA then the Dodgers in Boston.

Now, as he returns to Boston as the manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, he will be trying to prevent the city that celebrates him from claiming a fourth title this century. Even so, Roberts can expect a big cheer when he is introduced before Game 1 on Tuesday night.

Back in the good old days when the Giants were on their way to winning the World Series every other year, I found an awesome app called Radio Delay. I would run the audio from KNBR into a PC and would put about a 14 second delay on it so it would sync up with the televised broadcast. Joe Buck was mercifully muted!

There seems to be nearly universal dislike of Joe Buck as a WS announcer...why the hell do they keep giving him the job? Who actually likes the guy?

I don't really mind Joe Buck... but I can't stand ARod or the king of buffoons, Tim McCarver. And that dude that does the Indians games that is always doing the overhyped yelling whenever an Indian hits a dribbler or homer... no way to tell which through all the foam coming out of his gob... he might actually be the worst, in the annoying sense.
