"Greetings,"

"We are here to help you,"

Largo stole my punchline, "There are no guarantees. Period."

I love you.

I've never done this before.

I am a virgin.

I did not have sex with him.

I was out with my girlfriends.

I do not have a STD.

I have a headache.

I am on my period.

I am going to the gym.

I am going out of town to visit my sister.

I do not have a drinking problem.

It's not you, it's me.

LEB,

The phrase "quiet desperation," made famous by Thoreau, actually refers as much to those who have achieved the American "Dream" as it does to those who aspire to do so.

Education and doing the right thing have intrinsic value; it's not about what they "get" you. Virtue is its own reward.

"My aim is true..." - Dick Cheney

In pretty much every aspect of his life: his own military service, his health, duality on homosexuality, belief in executive power, fantasy-based war, and most especially - whenever his finger's on the trigger (gonna pullit...)

hey there zip... say, seem there's something wrong with me too, i tend to waver in to-hope-or-not-hope too much, must learn to be more practical as to what is immediatly on the horizon as to jobs, and whatever else, i reckon....

say, we should have a race, as to these illusive goals... (sure hate to see anyone lose, though... perhaps we shall have a tie at a good finish line, in years to come)

but seriously:
you'll make it... that's what a good climb-challenge is...

ready, set, go... you'll make it...

Prod, Bullwinkle, Nefarious....nawww guys...disagree. Be glad to meet and have a gentle discussion any place and any time... yo place or mine. But, god and the bible are not a lie.

Zeriously....and I'd stake my life and I have staked my future on the above premise. Yikes. !!! We'll see what happens. I be journaling the past year plus to document the life and the insurmountable challenges I've faced. Will let you know, in truth, whether Lynnie sinks or swims, whether life works or crashes...and if god takes care of those that love him. : ))

Actually, I was thinking the GM one wasn't a lie... It kinda sucked when it was new and after fixing it was about the same!

Not outrageous, but

I never say "never".

Lots of funny paradoxical (impossible to be true or false) statements can be made using natural languages because of the beauty of "self-reference", that are vaguely related to this.

For example, "This statement is false."

"...the settlement of the Czechoslovakian problem, which has now been achieved is, in my view, only the prelude to a larger settlement in which all Europe may find peace. This morning I had another talk with the German Chancellor, Herr Hitler, and here is the paper which bears his name upon it as well as mine (waves paper to the crowd - receiving loud cheers and "Hear Hears"). Some of you, perhaps, have already heard what it contains but I would just like to read it to you ...".

'"My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time."

Neville Chamberlain, British Prime Minister
30 September 1938.

I think we all know how the story ended...
