Cheney was just taking a little longer to suck off the Federal teat. He can probably file a worker's comp claim or get his govt insurance to pay for it, to avoid the struggles the rest of us have with normal private insurance.
Not only that, but I'm sure he farmed out the wheelchair contract to the wheelchair division of Halliburton.

I still can't believe these inept c*#ks@ckers were put into office. C*#ks@ckers one and all. Bush looks like he can still give a god bj, what with those ears sticking out the side of his head like proper love handles should, but Dick....well,Dick is looking old and worn out, like the hookers around the inner city projects do. Whether Cheney believes what he did is "wrong" or not is subjective and a moral issue. I'm more concerned with whether he did anything illegal and prosecutable. Whether he thinks he was right or not, I'd say he knows what actions of his were against the law...most of the time moral justification from criminals means nothing to me (except for those with plausible evidence pointing to a wrongful conviction).
So Dick...did you break the law? If there's evidence hopefully Mr. Holder will be knocking on your door soon.

Cheney makes the Sopranos™ look like saints. Tony was way more responsible, now where near as base. But I think you're on to something, Lois, about his 'vision thing.' Succinctly described by whoever said "sociopath"....
I Have met him, whoever mentioned that. His hand has touched my hand, he really seemed no worse than any other politician that wants to pump your soul out through your hand for whatever vile want, that he has that you don't want to imagine....
What I don't get, is why he would fake a workman's comp case instead of avoiding the hassle and writing a check for a hospital that only treats him? Though if he did get hurt and could spin it for sympathy, it's hard to imagine that he wouldn't, just on general principles...

Shouldn't that sequence be "loaded and locked", or "load and lock"? Why would you lock a firearm before loading it? Doesn't that make it hard to shoot, when there's no ammunition in it? Sort of like "ready, fire, aim"?
I hope one of the local gun nuts can enlighten us about this.

I doubt very many people seriously believe Cheney is faking. However, we are talking about a guy that managed to get 5 deferments from the draft. Also, sitting is excruciating for most back injuries.
Faking is not entirely out of the realm of possibilities for the old bastard.

Just kidding - I believe it was a good swift kick in the ass by the universe. For a person as mad with power as Cheney, to be 'disabled' had to be hard to take sitting down....

I saw it.
So he is a faker. He should have stood and walked out of the white house in pain, proud like a true soldier.
