bluering - Nice, dude! We'll have to keep in touch on this. I'm sure I'll need a break from my crew by then! hahaha

Lynne - What are we playing? 9 ball or 8? 9 is a significantly different game and for real players. Anyone can play 8 and get some lucky shots. 9 involves strategy. :)

"Anyone need a partner for Thanksgiving Day?"

Zip, no, but you can hang with us or maybe Nefarius' posse. When I get confirmation on site numbers I'll let you know. Aren't you the one with the crazy colored Bus?

Stay tuned....

Tim (Pennsylenvy) plays a wicked harp, just so ya know....climbs good too!

Blue, Could you change your policy of posting to old threads? Its tiresome to read the first page of a thread and then realize its old. And then have to search through to find the new stuff. It doesn't help the front page if you post to a thread that is already off the front page, If you bump on old thread by posting to it, then it will still bump some other thread off the front page. So you may as well start a new thread unless there is info that you are replying to. Combining threads only works if you are posting to a thread that is already on the front page.

Otherwise, J Tree at thanksgiving is a blast. Have fun.

John, no.

If I started a new thread every year for Jtree, there'd be too many. Do you know how to click on the last page and read THIS YEAR'S developments on who's going? Click the number to the right instead of the name of the link itself. Y'know?

This one thread thing keeps the whole affair on-topic and relevant without cluttering the server with crap new threads.

I don't see the problem here.

I don't know if my family will be there those dates. If not I too need peeps to hang with for the turkey and the climbing. I do carry my weight re: food and climbing....

Let's make this Gathering one that will be part of the history of J. Tree Park. Send....dudettes and dudes and go for a Terrific Thanksgiving.

So anyone in Josh or coming to Josh, like Bluering, please posta....grazie,,,,lrl

No blue, there would not be too many. Once a thread is off the front page, it does not affect the front page. Putting stuff together such as political stuff is to help the front page. Think about it. And yes, I know how to look at the end of a thread, I just didn't realize that the thread was old so I started reading it, then realized I had to scan through it to find the new stuff.

I could go bump old political threads and it would do nothing to reduce the number of political threads on the front page. Only combining stuff that is already on the front page helps that. So if what you want to talk about isn't on the front page, then start a new thread, unless there is pertinent info in an old thread off the front page. Get it?

Lynne, we're gonna have a real bunch this year...you are definately welcome. We may have campsite problems cramming people in though, 4 tents max or whatever. It'll work out. I'm going solo so I may camp in the outback or some sh#t, I dunno.

I'm gonna go on walkabout!!!
