Tuesday Night

Warm
the sand was warm
almost hot
it seeped through the holes of that worn red quilt
making little pools beneath us
we didn't notice
a sunrise without a sun
just fingers of blazing dawn
climbed from frothy clouds
searing their edges
made them hurry
you were warm
so warm
like the sand and sun and quilt
you were warm
and we laughed and were warm together
you touched me softly
gently
like the delicate foam of receding tides
and I looked into your face
saw reflected in your eyes
passion to rival the ocean's storms
love as strong as the tides
as brilliant as sunlight at noon
as bright as 10,000 moons...

I awoke to a streetlight glaring
through a hole in the windowshade
crawling through the cracks of my eyelids
it was a dream
stark reality rushed in on me
numbed me there beneath my old quilt
there in my lonely bed
a thousand miles from you
dreaming
I had been dreaming

saltwater tears threatened my eyes
so I closed them
close your lonely eyes, dreamer
go back to sleep, dreamer

I rolled over
brushed the sand from my sheets
and fell back to sleep

Space Monkey Phase One
Probably one of the greatest compositions ever created by the human hand. An Epic masterpiece up there with like, The Last Supper or something.

TRG--How come that awesome nude with blue sky is showing up, but not a single one of your other images? Maybe you could do the Photobucket thing? I would truly love to see the rest of your work!

(All the photos of Ivan showed up with no problem either...are you using a different program for your illustrations?)

Watusi--Fabulous Darling, Fabulous!

hmmm not sure....they are all photobucketed..like the Ivan photos.

I'll check it out stand by. Is everyone else having trouble seeing them?

Any chance it's a Safari issue? What browsers are they not showing in?

yeah TRG, live trace and blend modes - I stack like 3 live trace layers - traced at different thresholds - fire colors in and blend.

Wow, watusi - that thing is really really cool man.

hey TRG - you images still not opening in my browser - anyone else?

Thanks, your stuff is really sharp.
I always think about how much AW would have loved Photoshop if he had stuck around a few more years. Way easier than silkscreening.
