Speaking of red states: my only question is about grammar and spelling. What the heck is it about Trump's base? Terrible grammar, terrible spelling, and equally intense--if not greater--passion.
Don't know whether you intended it or not Tom, but you distilled the whole thing down to its essence int that post. Whatever side of the grammar/spelling debate you come down on, there is no question that the passion -- at present and over the last few years -- is far stronger in Trump's base than it is in any other segment of the American political scene.
Those of you who want an end to Trumpism, or of Republican majorities, had better up your passion level.
Me? In your country I am not allowed to vote, so there's nothing I can do, but if you are upset with the status quo, you'd better get passionate.

Fritz, I owe you an apology. There's something about that picture that just set me off. I shouldn't have gone all personal about it. Especially the bottle of wine remark was out of line.
edit: After further consideration I decided to delete my post. I'd usually consider this wimpy, but in this case I was just wrong.

As a former very serious competition shooter and gunshot victim I am a complete gun handeling muzzel control, triger finger control snob. You won't get any slack from me for sweeping me with your muzzle. all that being said making a photo as long as the photographer does not get shot it's all good.

Gun owners don’t really care about the opinions of non-gun owners.
The reason should be pretty damn obvious.
When push comes to shove, I’d say one side has a dicided advantage. And that is the whole point of the arguement in the first place.
