Deceased teenagers
I bet those responsible gun owners feel real bad. They’ll feel even worse when they get the slap on the wrist the state will no doubt hand down.

From the article you cited, Trashman (aptly named):
"'The family doesn't necessarily want charges filed because it's a tragedy on both sides,' Hopkins said. 'They also don't want Kempke's death to become a topic in a gun control debate,' Hopkins said."
How about: Don't be an an opportunistic prick?
Oh, what am I thinking? This is already a politard thread.
Carry on. Until it's nuked, which it should be immediately.

TBC, I’ve seen that mixer, west of Hanksville, right? Bolter, I would guess that charges will be filed and rightfully so. Gotta see your backstop, man.

Not a gun debate issue
The gunners were negligent
If they had killed the kid with their car or carelessly riding a snowboard different story
Eh?
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort photo.
The woman who was reportedly killed after being hit by a snowboarder while she was skiing in a slow zone at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, B.C. on February 9th was identified as 55 year-old British woman named Anne Woods by her husband Terry Woods on CTV News this week.

What can I say, as one who likes to take my family to public lands in this state, I feel like I have a vested interest in the issue, even if the family in the aforementioned articles feels conflicted.
I’d like to see penalties high enough that instead of “suffering enough” they’re scared silly to do something that stupid in the first place. I know well enough to move on when the idiots are with in ear shot. Now I’ve gotta drive to and from with the windows down so I can listen for any other idiots who were too lazy to check before started playing?
Edit to add:^^see, this is all I ask, kill someone accidentally driving drunk? you’re life is altered professionally forever. Kill someone accidentally with your boomstick? You’ve suffered enough #thoughtsandprayers

Crux, dontcha know that the Confederate flag is simply a symbol of Southern Pride? I have seen a few Utards flying them and I think to myself, “I’m sure they have a great, great, great Grandfather that fought in the Civil War, they don’t hate brown folks.”

my whole point is that when you follow the doctrine of always cut taxes it decreases revenue which equals a reduction in services . you can't sell off an empty cart so now you end up with a picnic area where they can afford to mow the grass but not afford to have fish and game remove a dead antelope and being ok with that much cow sh#t next to a picnic table is just bonus redneck points.
As far as the family in Utah who apparently cares more about politics than their child... . as a redneck gun owner and former competition shooter with a trunk full of trophys in the woodshed. the trigger person needs to be charged with manslaughter. Once you fire a round and let that thing leave the barrel you own it. target shooting into brush and woods without a clear sight of where the round stops is not cool....

I saw that shooting incident in the local news here in SLC. It is illegal in UT to shoot across a road, even a small dirt one. And there is zero excuse for not knowing where you're shooting. The shooter should be charged with negligent homicide or manslaughter. They killed someone while breaking the law. No different than killing someone while DUI.
Gun rights advocates frequently say we just need to enforce existing laws. Well, this is a perfect case in point. They should be advocating that this person be punished.
