Tom is the Bomb! I have enjoyed is reports for the last 3 years. Unfortunately this year I do not have a desk job where I can read them daily. (It is actually a good thing that I don't have a desk job anymore.)

I was 'climber 46' , but changed my name to ottawa doug on the taco stand. Heck, I've even forgotten how to sign on as climber 46. I was 46 at the time and it was a tongue in cheek thing about bear 46. Anyway, here were are 3 1/2 years later and I have gotten to know Top reasonably well and have received hundreds of photos from him. We are all lucky to have him. Glad to see others feel the same. Long live the El Cap Report!

Cheers,

Doug

Not only are Toms Pictures and words worth checking out every night during the El Cap Climbing seasons but also spending some time with the man in person is always worth it as well. A Trip to the valley just would not be complete without spending some time at the Bridge.

El Cap pics----where to begin. Seriously some of the best material on ST.com. It's 80-90% of why I tune in here. How else would I be able to keep up on what's happening in the place I consider the most "Unique in all the world?" Tom--You do a lot of good for us all, and we appreciate every photo and post you write. Thank you so much.

a huge thank you to Tom for keepin us all up to date on what happens on the Captain. It is a fascinating ride and a job well done. I stopped by the bridge and met Tom a couple weeks ago for the first time. he let me look thru the scope at Leo Holding and his portaledge up high. then I watched as a couple cute chicks rolled up and started chatting Tom up, and I realized he may have one of the best jobs in the world.
