Spent some time having a couple glasses of wine last night and staring at the great shots I got from Tom. Climbers, especially average "joe blow" climbers like me are so lucky to have a pro photographer like Tom set up at the bridge ready to record their adventures. I'm so useless with technology that I don't even know how to post up my pics, but maybe some of you out there in supertopo land could do so.

Thanks Tom!

Who ever takes a camara when you solo? I didn't but I still had 2 rolls of film from a solo of the P.O. wall thanks to Tom.

Tom is awesome. We rolled into the Valley, he gave us the beta we needed, some other dude there gave us the go ahead to claim all the water we needed all ready to go at the base of the wall, and he hooked us up with a CD afterwards. Muchos Gracias!

Tom is awesome... he takes killer pics, he's a climber, and he's a school teacher. Tom, Frank Zappa, Gahndi, and Chuck Norris;...heroes.

Tom rocks, and has sent me tons of great photos over the years! Thanks, Tom! See you in the spring, eh?

Hey, I don't get it, that picture of Flex on the Salathe Roof pitch. Did Tom take that photo? It seems too "up close". If so, from where was the photo taken? Or does Tom have a new lens. I mean, I knew Tom was big, but I didn't know he was that big.

Hi Anna, which one is you?

Tommy, when did you solo PO?

And McTopo fans, you really should be aware that our very own Climber46 = Doug Pratt-Johnson is the newest member of The Club, having soloed El Cap via Zodiac this fall. Please note that Zodiac is now a legit route after its cleanup, and no longer the lame-ass route it used to be. So congrats to Doug!

Pete, I got to lead that pitch. Werner, expando, really? I failed to notice that.

Tom, what do you do in winter? Winter wall pics?

Climber 46, I just figured it out from a suggestion on this board, a few days ago. Go here: http://www.imageshack.us/

Of course you failed to notice, as no one uses pins on it any more. But back in the day when dinosaurs roamed the valley floor people nailed the Boot with pitons and it was a feared pitch.

Some even took big wippers outa that beast.

Thought I'd put up some of the awesome shots Tom gave us from this season:

Me and Dan on New Dawn (finished up the Nose):

Us on the Trip, we did the LiA start:

Me on the Muir Wall (my first Grade VI solo):

A little bit of ego massage posting these, but such great shots and great times!

Thanks again to Tom for being so helpful and so very generous!

Oh man, that Boot Flake is way expando! Definitely freaky. Can't believe the bloody thing is still attached, not sure how. I was looking behind the thing, yeesh. Couldn't wait to get off of it.

Yep, Tom's pics are such a treat!

Last wall I climbed there was one move on tthat was my absolute favorite, a long reach sideways and it felt like free climbing...without the free part. During the move I was like "Man, I wish Tom would get a pic of this, its aweseome!"

Whaddayaknow...when I got the CD from Tom he had not one, but THREE shots of it! Tom knows just the pics to shoot, for sure!

Thank you, Tom!

Tom is the one of the greatest guys you can come in contact with in the Valley. He loves that he does, and loves to share with others. He took care of me and my parters while we were up on the wall.

And got some full moon pics. early in the morning which is rare sometimes on the captian...

I haven't forgoten Tom. I still am going to take care of you. Not sure if you remember, but I was on Mescalito with Dan, as well as Zod. with Lance....

You did something for me that Im forever grateful. $$ can't compare to what you give to climbers. Its beyond that.

Thank you Tom.

I'll see you next summer. And as well to you my friend, Anytime your in Hawaii, please look me up. I'll show you around the islands.

When I first started climbing, Tom took me under his wing for a couple of years. He taught me how to climb. He taught me how to place good gear. He taught me how to aid. He was there when I climbed The Nose and he took loads of pictures of me and Ben. Every morning, I'd wake up to Tom shouting encouragement. After I got back to my car, I found a note pinned to the windshield congratulating me on my first trip up the Stone. Thanks Tom......I owe you!

OK, T2, here are two, one is "the favorite move", the other is just another fav. imageshack rocks. This is the first time I ever got a pic to post! :)

This was some hooking, it was fun b/c it was traversing and creepy, the hook im getting on was placed with a nut tool. *shiver* :)

Here's another fav because of the weird rock pattern and b/c the routefinding was hard-ish.

:):) Yay Tom!
