Not a tiny house, but you need the right tool for the job, not to fancy, road and off road ready, with the comforts of home (sink, 2-burner stove, toilet, shower, hotwater heater, furnace, tanks for fresh water and the other stuff, batteries, etc.), can stay with all the luxuries in an RV park or out in the woods. Lived in 140 square feet with husband for 15 years (have had husband for 41 years), dog some of the time, 150,000 miles, set up at a place and climb, climb, fish, climb, etc. Live simple, live cheap, climb, climb, climb.

I like how they've renamed Mobile Homes into Tiny Houses. Look like some nice digs. One of my kids is enamored with the whole idea. I have a coworker thinking of making this into a retirement option. Rent out the family house, park this thing on some lot somewhere. I don't get it, but he's pretty psyched on it. I like my house - more inclined to making it bigger and more open than shrinking it - park one of these things in the garage.

Curious, donini, did you all sleep under something of a tarp or under bivy sacks to keep condensation off your bags? or else what is your idea for best practices regarding protection from "tiny house" condensation?
Three persons over a night's sleep put out a great deal of water vapor, don't they?

Yep....we had quite a lot of frozen condensation on the inside of the tent. We used down bags with a Pertex shell and they stayed dry. It was also a single wall tent which tends to condense more.

If you'all can do without the wheels this tiny 660sqft. On 5ac was bought for under 20k and 35k in remodel.
It's been fetching $160 a night on Airbnb
Just picked up this little pink one for 20k
Prolly take 40k to make it work
