He's 55.
He loves being up on the wall. He loves the big wall camping, as he calls it. There is nowhere else he'd rather be.
I enjoyed it. It was a lot of work. Really hard, both physically and mentally (for me). I mean, I'm sure we could have hauled less stuff, but we had food for 10 days, and so much water we left like 5 gallons up on a ledge. I can't wait to go back.

I can't really speak for him though. He's been climbing a long time. He has done lots of trad and then got into the big wall stuff in the 90s and I guess he hasn't looked back?
Yeah he has that shower video. I guess it's a little much? He is an attention whore after all ;)
I used to climb rock and ice but I am still recovering from surgery so I'm not climbing so much, not like pre-surgery anyway. I am hiking more to build up strength and have climbed a little (read: 1 route LOL)
