So what was the final tab? I agree with others that this is a funky way to do an auction. Your deal to run, but maybe you could have done better if you would have posted the bids and allowed some real competition.

Also agree with the do not delete the thread recommendation.

If the Titon has any story to it, more than $5.

Got my Titon from my Uncle. Hand me down item that I just love to drag out every couple of years.

Werner hates them. Prior to cams they were quite useful if you knew how to use them. I typically only carried the 4-8 eventually whittling them down to just the #8 and then hung it up for good as well. Whipped on them just fine if I recall correctly.

But those SMC Camlocks, egads! They and the CMI single wire 'Swivel of Death' cams both still give me nightmares.
