Men not attracking mates and instead competing for a mate using looks, money, etc..., is the the same thing. Competition is competition and judging a potential mate based on looks happens in men and women.
Men should be covered up at all times. They should certainly show less skin and never wear crop-tops.

This is quite possibly the stupidest thing I have ever heard Juan say on the forum - and that's saying something.
I can only hope this whole thread is a troll. To be otherwise would make Juan a complete and total moron.
Not to mention living in the past.
Hey Juan - NEWSFLASH - This "just" in: Women are equal to men.
Yeah, I know. Tough concept for you, I'm sure.
We - as men, or as a government, or as climbers, or as anything, don't "let" women do anything.
Just as women don't give us permission to do anything.
They are human beings, with equal rights, who can wear whatever they want to - including *gasp* clothes that show leg AND *shhh* even cleavage.
The very idea of "letting" women dress a certain way is so low-level that monkeys would rightfully laugh at you.
Join the current century, Juan. We've done a lot of cool things that you might not have heard of yet - like invented fire, and the wheel. Oh, and most of us aren't threatened, morally, sexually, or otherwise, by seeing a little skin - that's because we're sentient beings - adults, even. Besides, history is rife with stories of sexual "immorality" (which I presume you define by fundamentalist christian standards), even when women were covered up so comprehensively by clothing that the merest flash of an ankle was considered scandalous. Why, even Mary Magdelene was a prostitue, for God's sake.
And don't even get me started on the idea you seem to be advocating: that the government regulate women's clothing. Follow the logic, if you're able: the next step would be everyone wearing the same uniform, and that's just the beginning of a very scary story, my friend.
You righteously talk about men taking all of the blame for a lot of the world's problems like you've been taken advantage of in some way, and in the same breath, try to shift all of the blame and the punishment over onto women and their preferred modes of dress. Hypocrisy at it's finest, ladies and gentlemen! Oh, excuse me, just gentlemen.
Why don't you give this a shot: how about let's just respect women, and "let" them do whatever they want to, since this is a free country and they're equal to us, and we can all just appreciate them on their own terms, not on ours?

Haha Werner, so true. And it's not like we can claim equality in effort expended too, just get to know any single mother and you'll see what total commitment is really all about.
Plus no monthly trip to hell, sh#t, I for one know how good we have it.
