hey there say, tami... THIS ONE IS ALL REAL, the gang sitting there, LEARING over my chicken!! *edit: i DID have to take about five pictures though---there seemed to be always one cat, trying to make a JUMP for the food, and i had to move! ) (the orange one, paws for the food, as well)
now the first shot, the OTHER one is real too, BUT i had to TOUCH UP THE GREY CAT... she was just turning away when i took the picture and she ruined it! :(
so, thanks to a photo shop touch up, i fixed her...
*i had been keeping them on low food, for this week, til i could buy more, and as they did eat well, it was NOT enough to suit them--thus--when i sat down to eat a bit of chicken... and:
JUST A BIT, MIND YOU...
suddenly ZOOM there was a horde of cats there on the table edge!!
(i was sitting on the piano bench, hope to be away from any such trouble--it didn't work too good, did it? :)) and:
what you can't see is:
patty ann marie, the ol' pupdog, was at my FEET making cutie-nice doggie eyes... :O
man oh man... all i wanted was a tiny bite of chicken!!!! :O

hey there say, ol' capt... or skully...
ohmy, you know... it's a lot harder to herd these ol' cats in this bigger house, :O
:))
wow, YES, to mr. E and skip:
congrats on the kitten!!!!
may she grow strong and wonderful and do all kinds of cat stuff that keeps you on your toes, day and night!!!
YOU'LL SEE... ;) :O
harper-tyler-mercy, just got done doing THIS the other morning, when he did not get fed fast enough---seemed he made a rumble through the house, to match his stomach, i reckon:
EDIT: he had also knocked down the doll house toys, by jumping into it, and some nice bottles off the piano, taking down the candles with it! and a little angle dish-type-thing, and was working on something in the kitchen, when i put a halt to all that... :O
but really, you will be GLAD for having cats:
they are warm during cold winters and sleep on your bed, leaving you not much space, as they pick the choice spot...
they also purr though and try to lick your face, too...
they do neat cute stuff so you can take neat pictures...
you need to CUT THERE NAILS, too...
they love to shred furniture...
don't leave out any milk, butter, cheese, meat, or well, anything...
:))
and this one is serious---cats CAN disappear if you let them loose outside and they do get hit by cars, :(
i HOPE you keep your kitty inside, pleaseeeeeeeeee....
you will be so very VERY GLAD 15 years down the road, when your neat CAT is purring so sweet by your side...
:)

hey there say, oh mr. E ... one more thing...
yes, you can call: "kitty kitty kitty" etc, but:
remember to USE the cat's name... they WILL come when you call them by name, if you start early...
mine will each come to their OWN name, if i want only one of them to come... sometimes, instead of coming to see what i have for them, they will just ANSWER me, too (if they know there is no food around) but they DO respond to their names...
give it a try...
so, is punky her name now, then??
(each time you say her name, give her a treat---then, she will respond)...
hmmm, oh my... you know... actually, perhaps they ALL have just been trained to know a different "NAME" for:
"food treat for the ol' tummy" :O
and are NOT really knowing their name, at all...
ooopsss... ;) (at any rate, it works) :))
have fun....

(it was worth, balancing the bowl, the camera, and myself, to get a shot, though)

Cats are cute indeed as long as you're at least a few feet tall.
For mice and birds they are fearsome angels of death and torture their prisoners!
just sayin'

After looking at the first pic, the first name to come to mind was Scheherazade the Tatar princess from Prince Igor - a suitable name for a noble feline.

Well, the little miss has taken over the entire house like she owns the joint, and already comes when I call her. She slept in the crook of my arm all night although she pounced on my face (with her needle claws) once. (We'll have to work on the don't claw faces etiquette). Our older cat is pretty pissed off and not at all amused. Integration is going to take a while.
Leggs: That photo of Tiptoe with his tongue sticking out is pretty funny^^.
Okie: I think I'll hold onto that whole Zorna, Imperial Princes-thing for later when this one becomes older and graduates to primadonna.
Karl: This one is staying inside. Unlikely that she will ever be a fearsome killer of anything but tinfoil balls. Our other cat is so fat and lazy he can never catch anything but grasshoppers.

Better than the one of Tiptoe eating a bird? I understand. ;)
Congrats on the new family member, Skip!
