5.10 guide tennies ... love 'em and would buy them again. Supposedly good up to 5.9 climbing (Outdoor Gear Lab) ; tested this at Smith Rock and it's true.

Thanks for posting about the seam grip tip. It's about time for that on this pair.

Found the rubber was pretty slick at first so some care needed to be taken when descending deomposing granite slabs. After a while this wasn't as much of a problem.

I find these approach shoes to comfortable even on longer climbs like up Pyramid Peak / Hwy 50. Feels like you can fly compared to mountaineering boots ... since this is such a dry year, probably will be using them more than expected.

BTW ... the perfect Yosemite Facelift Shoe ... ha ha.
