Hey Brandon,
Way to go.
I've been smoke free four months now. Like you I started using when I started logging as a youngman. The tobacco executives have plenty of money, they don't need any more of yours. I tried and failed many times, it's good to have my life back. Keep up the hard work, it is hard work, but your not afraid of that are you?

Hey man,

I "grew up" in WV (no offense!). Have had the habit since. My best go at it was using "Smokey Mountain Snuff" Its herbal, and has some qualities that mimic the "experience"(King Soops, City Market, or other propriety sell it at 2.50 a tin). A far bit light but helped. I've tried countless times. As appreciated as smokers who quit and their input we chewers are a different breed. What I find is that with smoking, if I go on that binge, the benefits are easily found. Chewing on the other hand are far less observed. I'd like to see some other ideas from non-smoking tobacco users who have quit successfully; although we try to remain anonymous. The patch gave me weird dreams but that smokey mountain stuff helped a lot. Ultimately I'm still a slave but man good luck to ya!

Cheers!!!

you should talk to Weschrist, he's been struggling lately. Smokes a lot of dicks.

Fueled up the truck in town today. At the register, the kid behind the counter asks if I want a can of chew.

It was an easy 'nope'.

Cool.

I was on the snoose for about 15 years, and Nicorette was clutch. Start out with whold pieces is you're gripped, and then cut them up into smaller pieces. Chew on it a little, then wedge it in your lip. It feels kinda like the real deal as it burns a little.

Good luck!

I quit chewin' Copenhagen on May 7th thanks to a few of these posts for inspiration. I gained 7 pounds which sucks for climbing, but hey I'm nicotine free and just need to run more or eat less. Good Luck to you guys. I'm worried about my first road trip which is when I really appreciate a dip. Be Strong!

I dipped Skoal at first and then Copenhagen steady from roughly 3rd grade (went to summer camp in N. Carolina) to 10th, and then I had to have gum surgery. That was it, had to quit. I still crave it, 23 years later.
