Tami!

Love the idea, but I think we need to get rid of the “peanut gallery” and make this a tale of the revenge of Teddy Roosevelt for what the Republicans have done to his vision for America.

So------Teddy and Bradford Washburn appear on the mountain after having dog-sledded in. They are looking only slightly deceased, and do a more classic ascent line with minimal gear.

At the climax: Sarah has run it out on 5.11 and is struggling (chest heaving), only inches from the top.

She suddenly sees Teddy above her and sings to him to save her.

Teddy sings back, cursing her for ruining his Republican ideals.

Sarah, remorsefully answers, and agrees to resign from all political aspirations, if only Teddy will drop a rope to her.

If you like it-----please work on the ending.

More on Sarah's climbing background. Also it appears Discovery Channel will be filming this epic in the making.

An Alaska local radio station, KTNA, reported last week that out-of-state film crews descended on Talkeetna, a small town at the edge of Denali National Park, to film the ex-governor and her family at the Alaska Mountaineering School taking lessons on glacier travel and climbing.

The show's producer denied reporters an interview and the station writes, "Secrecy surrounded the production as locally hired people work under strict confidentiality agreements."

The Queen of Twitter may have let the cat out of the bag though, letting fans know that she planned to climb a "sliver of Denali." In old-school Palin style, however, she rather confused the issue by referring to the "Sweet-tooth" peak, which doesn't exist, when she likely meant the "Sugar-tooth," which does exists but is not a Denali route, according to the station.

Perhaps the plan is to "dispose" of wildcard Willow from the summit.

I think I saw this on TV last night. I was surfing channels and caught a glimpse of mountains and ice and people with gear...stopped briefly and realized it was Sarah P. on toprope...

She almost quit, but to her credit, kept at it, tugging the rope a bit, and finally made it to the belay.

Her husband totally cruised the route.

Did anyone else catch this?

Shameful that they give that ditz 8 hours of unfiltered, unpaid campaign propaganda.

My wife had my daughters and me watch the rock climbing segment, and it was hilarious. Palin sounded exactly like my wife when I take her climbing. We all (including her) couldn't stop laughing at her questions and the guide's answers. It was just like my wife and me -- except my wife does a better job of keeping her knees off the rock, but does more whining.

I'm sure your wife would whine less if she was making 8 figures and on camera while she was climbing.

"All this talk of palin's climb is bullsh#t."

Amazing what someone can do when they're not sitting on their ass, posting asinine nonsense a hundred times a day on here.

Can't tell you. I don't have time for TV, so I didn't see it.

And then she will single handedly wrestle a male polar bear into submission and mate with it.

I love to seeany politician or government official get a little climbing education. It is a cheap junket and could keep some dumb regulations from being passed as easily.

There are a few officials I'd love to get on the end of my rope....
