Bad no call that kept the packers in the game...

Yep, that's football. The Niners get away with their share too.

adopted kids turned out to be winners, sports, music, technology,

And like un-adopted a few turn out to be serial killers.

Wonder what adoption agencies were around then?

Richard Burton too? Didn't know that. Wow.

Anywho how did I get into this anyway? Sheez
I have nothing against adopted people. In fact, I feel for them. They've had it tough. Many of them have overcome a bad situation and went on to do great things. All power to them. Their difficulties in that regard were none of their own doing. That's tough for a kid. Real important that they be loved and nurtured by their adopted family. And props to those people who take on the special task of adopting kids. My deepest respects.

BTW I don't consider Bill Clinton as having been adopted. Didn't his mother just remarry?
If Clinton was adopted then so was Ted Bundy.

Wow , Wilson Riles?

(Dang, my one non-football post of the day should have been in the "sex do and don't" thread.)

So, Nature, what ultimate match-up are you projecting?

I don't see NO going into Sea this week and winning.

I know SD beat the Broncos but given the weather and the playoffs I don't see that happening again. Though Manning does know how to choke in the playoffs.

Carolina has been playing really well and has an excellent defense. They beat SF at home and given the marginal victories of SF I don't see them getting out of there.

The Indy/Pats game is intriguing. Hard to see the Pats losing but after that comeback I'm going with Indy.

So:
Car VS Sea
Indy VS Denver

Seattle is a tough place to play and with an inconsistent Carolina defense I give the nod to Seattle.

if it does end up indy/den that would be a really awesome matchup and story. In the end Denver would probably win with that high powered offense. But I think Indy has a chance.

So Seattle/Denver SB - the best defense against a high powered passing game. And a good offense that could have a real weapon back in Harvin VS an OK defense. High scoring SB - Sea 42, Denver 3 (kidding: Denver 35)

I don't see the Pats beating the Colts this time around...in spite of Brady having a hot hand. His favorite receiver is out for the season with a torn ACL. And Luck...is lucky! Indy over NE.

Denver is peaking again, and Manning is on a hot streak. So...Broncos over SD.

Colts vs. Broncos; Manning at home will really be gunning for lots of points early as well as his usual 4th quarter heroics. Revenge is probably another factor. Broncos over Indy 49-35.

In the NFC this weekend, I see Carolina over SF and Seachickens over the Aints.

Carolina has a way of dealing out upsets, so I'll go out on a shaky limb and say Carolina over Seattle in the DC.

SB: Denver over Carolina by 2 TDs.

Chance of rain in Seattle this saturday: 100%

Broke: off all the playoff teams Carolina is the I think has the best chance to beat seattle.

Nature wants to skip past playing the 49ers again- too funny!

No doubt it's a nice advantage to play at home, but GB is historically as tough as anywhere to play a post-season road game.

I'd say Seattle might just fall victim to looking past NO.
On paper SEA wins this week, but keep in mind they have not much playoff experience, as good as they are. Harvin is also questionable.

Niners are injury free next weekend, which is a small miracle considering the conditions yesterday. Last matchup against Carolina they had no Vernon Davis and no Crabtree. I think they can win. If they do, they'll be the team nobody wants to face.

skip past? they have to win to play. they won't.

and to say that have little playoff experience is silly. Over the past couple years four games to SF's six games.

the 'hawks are doing anything but looking past NO. I'm sure you're not paying attention to that news feed which is fine.

But seriously.... a Dome team playing in the rain in the PNW. Granted it won't be as cold as phily. But that's an issue for their passing game. And last time out the 'hawks gave up almost nothing on the ground. 27-17 hawks.

Harvin Questionable? you have a news feed the rest of us don't have? We should know his status tomorrow but everything I've run across says he's looking good. He'll play....

Nature, I think that's a pretty solid read. Same intuitions as I have, although I tend to not trust them when they are mine. lol

Though Manning does know how to choke in the playoffs.

Heh... truer words were never spoken. And Denver has an amazing ability to suddenly kick into "keystone cops" mode!

Hey, I didn't say I didn't like girls, did I?
They only won because of that lame holding call.
Both those teams have lame secondaries that would be the laughing stock
of the Pac-12. And there are 4 or 5 QB's in the Pac-12 better than those clowns.

What a pathetic excuse for a football game.

Looked like college ball to me.

Hell the Raiders coulda beat both teams with their second string.

It was a pretty good comedy show at least.

That's the difference between college and The Pros.

In a Pro Game, pivotal plays are usually the result of superior skill/planning/execution. In college ball, big plays happen when someone f*#ks up.
