I would be very interested in details of Kalifornia prosecuting somebody for an internet pic.
Were there identifiable landmarks?

all they have to do is figuer out your identity, get a warent and kick your door in. If they play the terr card they might not even need the warent???

It could be used as part of a basis to issue a warrant, I have been told, (bear in mind that I am shooter not a mouthpiece), and I have had problems with the law in my checkered past. Probably just being paranoid. But just because you are paranoid doesn't mean you are not being followed.:)My armorer/certified Duracoat guy says he can give me links to cases if you guys are really interested.

Stopped off at Doug's monday to see if I could get the $225 fifty round drum for my Thompson to actually function.
Long story short; was briefly attended to by Dave the manager (owner?).
They have a bunch of nice stuff, and I've spent some major $ there over the years. Its pricey, but everyone is these days.
But the customer service there is SO atrocious (on the last visit Dave wheedled info about this thread from me after I asked about what happened to Pagen. Although I wasn't specific he probably found it, which might explain why he pointedly ignored my concerns on this visit.)
My last visit.

been spending my money at galensons since the mini, and the suggestion that i lied about not firing the thing when i brought it back to try to swap it out.
i might be a lot of things, but a liar isn't one of them...

The thing is, if there really WAS just one weapon that performed in a superior manner in all situations then all the others would quickly fall by the wayside.
Like De Niro says, "It's a toolbox."

Thanks for the email mdavid. I think we are in agreement.
And yes, when some yahoo comes driving onto my spread if I'm not holding an HK91 then it'll be the SOCOM.

I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this so....
Has anyone here played with 6.8 SPC?
Recently I had a great time shooting a friends Kel-Tec
This was actually the first time I have shot 223, and I liked it much more than I thought I would. So I am curious about a round with similar balistics but more punch.

No.
But I have a Kel Tec in 9mm with a S&W magwell that is surprisingly fun to shoot for a plastic toy.
I like the way, when folding stocks suddenly became politically incorrect, Kel Tec came out with a folding receiver that made a carbine even shorter to the point that it is concealable by a jacket!
