I'll be in the same C4 site. There is a root there that fits beautifully under my right shoulder. We are now old friends.
Oh. Bringing a much bigger shovel this year.
EDIT:
I plan to bring a respirator also. Jeff, you and I may have to hold Roger down to get one on him before he gets on the BobCat. You game?

Starting Sept 21st have two week Upper Pines campground. I won't be using it much: one to days off and on. 7 weeks in Southeast Asia then coming home and telling my other half, "off again to Yosemite" with her birthday just before all this will not work. There will be another car there at the site. Two is the limit and if I recall 6 people max?
Anyway assuming I get out of here in one piece, there is a backup plan, so just need to know what date and time you will show up in the valley and can meet or second party to give you sticker for auto to use to pass gate.
Site is shortest walk to Curry and then get on the bus. Welcomed to use it.

Sorry for the delay. Actually ahead, it is 4:26am there but 6:26pm here.
Not a problem on $$$, already paid for. Just show up at Upper Pines where you have to go: to go past go, mention your name [Lolli] if different let me know and they will issue tag for placing on car/vehicle. If I am there, I will be parked at Curry since I will be leaving that night for ? # days.
I arrive the Sept 7th late so plenty of time to update when back in USA. Assuming it is still functioning. So you are covered even if I do not show, there will be someone at the site that will be back up in case.
I will provide for you # to call when you get close or in valley if need be. Stay as long as you like site ends Wed. Oct 5th.

Will officially be in C4 but will come by to terrorize the Yellow Pines Uber Capitalist at least once.

I have a few minor details to work out but here is what we have so far. New Belgium will be providing beer. Will also have wine and non-alcoholic drinks available. As before, a signature cup will be available for $25. This cup is good for free drinks for all the evening programs. This year I decided against glass mugs(tired of cleaning up glass shards). Instead we will have stainless steel mugs made by Klean Kanteen. Hope to see you all soon.
Evening programs for Yosemite Facelift 2011
All evening programs are at the East Auditorium behind the Visitor Center. Doors open at 6:30pm with shows starting at 7:00 pm and ending at 10:00 pm unless otherwise noted.
Tuesday September 20th:
Josh Helling will show Dangerous Season a film about Yosemite Search and Rescue
Lisa Rands presentation -
Wednesday September 21st:
Malcom Daly presentation - Tragedy and Triumph: Defying Gravity Though Post Traumatic Growth
Nicolas Favresse, Sean Villanueva and Ben Ditto will present Vertical Sailing Greenland
Thursday September 22nd:
6th annual Reel Rock Film Tour
Friday September 23rd:
Jim Donini presentation - High and Wild

Saturday September 24th 5:00pm - 9:00pm:
Volunteer recognition, raffle and outdoor music by Little Brother. Location to be announced
Sunday September 25th 6:00 pm - Midnight:
Raffle, food and dancing to Little Brother

P.P.S. The camping is being worked on. Due to increased popularity and late approval, it has been a nightmare. We had hundreds of emails to sort through.Thanks to Lindsey and Missy for taking it on.

I'll be at the wedding, and at the FaceLift too.. dirt bagging (although it is hard to pull that off in a 2011 model car) until Yellow Pines opens up.. probably show up on the 18th and leave sometime on the 25th (traditionally I don't make the final party, preferring to get home and see Debbie).
This will be my 5th YFL...
