Thanks for the update, Tacos!
Tacos and I met when I was taking pictures for the guidebook at The Overlook in Arizona. She finally called me for a day of climbing the day Skip and I were moving me to Los Angeles. We were four hours into the 8 hour drive when I get the call, she asks if I am coming back soon? I had to laugh, and just said "I hope so, but not this week."
I wish I could have climbed with you that day, Tacos.
Heal well, heal fast.

The 'first climb in Yosemite' thread got me thinking about the time I met Tacos at the Camp 4 bulletin board. Anyone got any updates? (There's a Jan. 6 entry on the blog above but I can't read Japanese.)
Tacos, if you're reading this I hope the rehab is going well!

Tacos is living in a special facility for handicapped people in Hiroshima.
At least she finally got out of the hospital and her family is nearby.

Bump, for Tacos!
I had the pleasure of climbing with her wonderful spirit, one summer, some years ago at Lake Louise.

I originally met Tacos in the BLM campground in Vegas searching in vain for an empty camp site. She crashed with us for a night or two until some friends showed up. A year or so later, we ran into her again at Lover's Leap and had a great time climbing with her and some locals before giving her a ride to Yos. I was always inspired by her endless, infectious stoke for climbing.
