You guys are doing well and to my amazement and surprise I'm making up for last weeks poor decisions in good time.

Down 7 today - I have a pretty good chance of being in the winners circle on Thursday.

So, that leaves me wondering.... will there be any winners pool to split? Looks like a bunch of winners to me and we've only got $40 in penalty fees to split.

Somebody needs to blow it and fast!

If we all win, then we must all be winners.

scuffy - you keep it up and you'll just slither right through those problems on WideFriday™

Way to go gang. Me, UP 1/2 pound this morning for no particular reason except for various grazing at 11pm last night.

Many green olives from a jar
Salted Peanuts
String Cheese
Fake diet candy bar which are now starting to taste good

Today?

3 cups of coffee with half & half (creme being a big downfall)
1 can of smoked trout w/5 melba toasts
1 slice of swiss cheese
1 diet coke
2 zero sugar "taste like piss" Butterscotch candies which I chewed.

Wish me luck! It's gonna be close. I'm going to start the Walling program tonight and just start willing it off while I sleep.

I'm really grateful for this fully artificial, contrived bit of
incentive. My cardiovascular fitness is much improved. I've been
able to ignore the extent to which I have deteriorated this
century. Actually trying to lose weight, though, instead of just
wishing it, has forced me to earlier-in-life levels of calorie
burning. I'm eating less, I'll admit it, but the major factor is
the exercise. I'm not getting grumpy like people who drastically
restrict their caloric intake. Every pound that comes off, I feel
better and more cheerful. In a few more days, I might even try on
some of "those" pants--the ones that are still in great condition
even though they're years old by now.

now officially hacking coughing after this weekend's sore throat debacle, not looking even close to do 10 more pounds in 4 days.

aiming for 208 if I don't go down fully from the hack. no reason to give up totally.

Hey Scuffy, gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - you'll get yours I think I'll bake something horribly sweet & fattening for dessert this weekend. Gotta fatten you up for the WIDE!

For me, it's still a close game. Too close for comfort for me and my sister Debora. Then again, at the 2 week weigh in I said the same thing then came in 1 1/2 pounds better than expected so there is hope.

I'll be seriously disappointed if I have to pay into the pot AGAIN! Last event I missed it by a pound.

Damn DC!

Yo,

I am down to 177 12 pounds lighter than weigh in. I was shooting for a 175 personal goal, oh well I'll get there.

I think I'll have some ice cream tonight, and some beer.

Hey Riley and Goat, are you guys making it? Or do I get some free dinners?

Prod.

Attn Scuffy, Jabber & Prod - your emails keep getting kicked undeliverable. So, here is the latest....

"Hello squad svelte,

Tomorrow 2/14/08 is the weigh-out and final day for the Diet Challenge.

Feel free to weigh out any time during the course of the day. That mean's as early as 12:01am or if you need to abstain from fluids and suck on lifesavers all day to make weight, 11:59pm is your final chance.

Please submit final results at your earliest convenience so I can calculate the winnings/loses.

Thanks,

Susan "

my coworker took me to dinner last night since he won 8k on the superbowl. center cut filet mignon and enough bread and butter to feed an army, 6 ales and ceaser salad.

so i got up at 4:45 this morning and ran 8 miles, 3 warm up miles then 1/2 mile intervals for 3 miles, then 2 warm down.

clocked in at 174 after that, down 11.

Just got back from a 50 mile bike ride and I'm down 14.2# Probably shouldn't count yet until I rehydrate but
I think I'll celebrate tonight anyways with a beer or two.

That's great, Riley.
A pound a day feels really good while it's happening.
So, Way to Go, Prod, PMB, Radical, Goatboy...
Salad seems to be a different species or something, consume
heavily in order to drop pounds, what is this?
