Great pics, but Todd - it looks like there's some smudge on your lens. Hopefully it's on the outside. I had a camera that seemed to have a bug. Here - take a look:

Here - maybe you can see it better:

I TOLD you it had a bug! I don't know how that F-er got inside but that must have been what happened.

I cleaned my lens today;...it had a bunch of dirt on it.....maybe I should get a camera case, instead of just throwing my camera in the pack with gear , chalk bad, food, and worse........Happiegrrrl;.....let's go climbing on your trip to J. Tree.....call up and let's go!

You're saying that bug was dust? Even with the legs?

The problem was(old camera) that it was not, so far as I knew how, able to be opened up. It was a Fujifilm S3000, barely a step above a point n shoot.

The Wonderful and Wild (well, not to wild) Adventures of Lynnies first ever Joshua Tree Thanksgiving Holiday.

After Thanksgiving church and dinner with the family took off and arrived in J. Tree @ 6pm. After a little wandering and a few shout outs, found Bluering and Buddies in #7 Hidden Valley.

Was Warmly welcomed by more new friends (some from the taco) I'd never met before....and just in time for another Thanksgiving meal prepared ala' campfire. Best Ever !

Have to say Blue and his group are a wonderful group of people and great to hang with.

Zip in center, black jacket...Steve aka bluering, on right standing up and left of zip with big smile, "stuff bag", next to s.b. is hot potatoe girl (She made Thanksgiving potatoes) and to the left of her is crazy Kev who posts on The Taco and his friend Heather. Jeff Fellbaum is in blue shirt.

Lots of magic in the air. And say did anyone note how GREAT the weather was the entire Holiday? Read earlier in this Thread and see what Lynnies reply was to the predicted bad weather...

So after wandering a bit (never been to Indian Cove) I find Ed Swann from the AZ group. He'd extended Lynne a super gracious invite to climb with them via the Taco. Great group of people. Met Zip there and finally we were off and climbing.

To Be Continued....coming up soon in your neighborhood and ours...two parties and two climbing days. Peace, Lynne

Hope Dogtowns next 100 miles are better than the last 500.
Snow and ice with me driving his car, a car I have never driven before.
Really , I practiced driving in the snow growing up in SDeggo, like I learned to scuba dive in the bath tub.
Its back to work after a mega coffee load lunch. I will down load pictures soon.I am looking at the snow and ice outside the coffee shop window. Was yesterday's climbing in shorts a dream? If so it is one to be repeated soon.
To all I met for the frist time ,
to the friends I hand not seen for so long
and the ones I get to see more often what better friends and life could be had.

I broke my camera on the first night, Doh!!!

No pics, but maybe my buddies took pics. Got a chance to do Mama Woolsey with Dwain which was cool. Hooked up with Zip and Lynne for T-day which was cool.

Kinda diappointed that I didn't do more climbing, kinda funky trip where I think I spent more time running up the rocks at night.

A couple people also showed up but I forget names around that many people. {And it was late around the fire.}

Cheers all!
