As long as I'm in, I'll go for 15 lbs since I only want to suffer for a month... plus it's all Coke and Mountain Dew anyway. I also have a sponsor, who'll go $5/lb. Actually, it was $5/lb for October, plus another $5/lb in November if I kept it off... but we'll sort that out later.

Salad,

Glad to have you along.

What does that monster stuff taste like? Cola or Mtn Dew like? How much caffeine?

Whatever happened to that Cabo TR and pics?

41 hunh? I remember that, vaguely. I turn 51 next week. Where did all the time go? It seems like just 25 years ago, i was 26.

Nature,

I still remember the exact moment i met the lady on your far right, cuz i almost died!

I was climbing with Lynne, and it was my lead. I started up a crack and looked over to my left, and there she was, leading a crack right next to me. I say hi, and she responds with a big smile, and a hi. SHAA WIING! I am watching her climb, and having a little trouble keeping up. While the Gary Wright Dreamweaver song is playing in my head, time has gone in to slow motion while i watch art and poetry in motion.

All of a sudden i am awaken from my trance by a real loud, "HEY ZIP". There is no mistaking Lynne's voice, and i yell back, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

She quietly asks me if i am planning on placing any gear on this route? I am 25 feet off the deck, with no gear in. I quickly slap something in and look over at The Dream, and she giggles.

Once on the ground i quickly engaged The Dream in a very delightful conversation. There was no chance for romance, cuz she was a half my age, but she seemed like a very nice lady.

I asked her and her friend to The Tarbuster Event at The Gordon Ranch. She said that she appreciated the invite, but they had plans. I said ok, and shook her hand, and said that it was nice to meet her. As they are walking away, i mention that there will be food, Sushi. They hesitate slightly, and say that they like Sushi, but have another commitment. When they get to the car, i decide to give it one last try and yell, "NATURE WILL BE THERE!". They both freeze in their tracks, and reply "The Nature?" I reply, Yep, the one and only. He is a close personal friend of mine. Both of their eyes light up like kids on Christmas morning.

I meet them both at the party, introduce them to you, and the rest is ....

OK.... you fat whales and whalettes...

The Fall Fat Farts Fastoff has officially begun.

I'm in at 166.5 with a target of 159.5 with mid point goal of 163.

The blubber is noticeable on me. I can barely do a forward fold any more.

FR,

Sorry, didn't make it to Meatfest.

I also introduced Nature to one more lady that i met in Da Pit, who was on an extended road trip.

When she arrived at the event, i asked her if she liked sushi, and she said yes, but could not afford it at this time.

So, i took her down to the sushi tent, introduced her to Nature, and i paid for her sushi.

So this is three women that i have introduced Nature to.

And what does he do?

Spends the rest of the evening making Sushi, and burning up brain cells with The Doctor!

What a serious homo! (NTTIAWWT)

FR,

Don't know about that, but the alcohol was flowing pretty freely that night.

And we never did see The Doctor again.

He was supposed to climb with us the next day, but never showed up.

It was just me, Lynne, and Nature.

On the drive in to the park, Lynne started giving Nature advice on dating, but that's another story.

Just heard back from Greg, w/ASCA, and we can designate where funds are going to be used.

First day, how's everyone doing?

Like I told zip, feel free to designate where you want funds used - but that's no guarantee that we have a rebolter who is interested/can get time/etc to replace particular routes!

Thanks for losing the weight...no, wait a minute...make that not losing the weight...
