The Fall Fat Farts Fast Off Thread is moving here.

more to follow...

I got to go to an important appointment right now. i have a date tonight, and need to get my back shaved........

Nature, can you throw up the url?

EDIT:

OK, i am back now. That didn't go well. She broke the clippers about half way through the job, and now i look like a Man O Lantern.

So, here we go...

Nature, thx for posting the link.

Just to clarify, this is not to benefit:

The American Swim Coaches Association or
The Australian Shepherd Club of America.

This is for The American Safe Climbing Association
http://www.safeclimbing.org

I don't think i really need to go in to who they are, what they do, or how this benefits all of us.

For every $50 dollars donated, they can replace 5-10 bolts, which could be a route.

I would love for us to donate $10,000, but would be satisfied with a $1000, and more realistically think that $500 should be easy obtainable.

I have contacted them and asked if we can stipulate where the funds can be used.

The goal is to lose 10 pounds in a month, and raise some cash for this very important organization.

Starts on October 1, and ends October 31, with a final tally due November 1 before noon.

At the end of the month if you did not hit the goal, you pay $10 for every pound that you did not lose. This goes in to the winners pool. The winnings will be split evenly between the participants who did hit the goal. The winners will individually decide, (as long as it is OK with the ASCA) which crag or area that you would like your money to benefit.

Two weeks in to the event, we will have a half way point weigh in. You must have lost 5 pounds, or you pay $10 to the pool.

I do not need to know your actual weight, just how much you have lost. No pix necessary. Honor system.

Hecklers should do the honorable thing, and pay a cover charge for hacking on us participants. This may be paid at the end of the contest.

Once you are in, you are in. No withdrawing, unless you have something catastrophic happen in your life.

All monies will be handled through PayPal to me. No checks. I will collect all funds and then forward to ASCA.

If you do not meet the end weight goal, please be prepared to pay up in a REASONABLE amount of time.

Got a lot of names posting on this, and the other thread.

Please let me know if i have posted your name, and you are NOT participating.

$50 has already been donated by me on behalf of Nature for winning the movie line trivia question.

So, you in?

Any questions?

Oh yeah, one more thing, i have a good heart, but i am not very bright. Please let me know if i mess something up, or if you have any other suggestions on how to make this more successful.

Thanks in advance to everyone for their very generous contributions.

In short the rules changed from what we did in the Diet Challenge™™™™™

Weigh in is Tomorrow - weigh out Halloween. Loose 10 lbs in that time. For every lb you don't lose you donate $10 to the ASCA.

So there's really no "prize" other than your tub-a-lub self will look more svelt in the mirror.

Don't have 10 lbs to lose? Make a pledge anyway and play along. I don't have 10 lbs to lose... my target weight by Halloween is 159.5.

Zip... you should wait until tomorrow after weigh in to shave your back. Lynne was telling me about it - sounds like you'll drop a half a pound in hair alone. That's five bucks!

How did MY name get the fattazz list?

Looking at last year's Facelift photos or something???

Between stress and recurrent cancer - I don't need to be losing anymore weight in the near future.

But I do like the ASCA - let me look at the discretionary fundage and see what I can throw into the pot.

But losing 10 pounds is not a hot idea for me right now. Sorry.

Zip... I'm not really IN.

I'm shooting to lose 6lbs. If I don't I'll just make a straight donation to the ASCA website.

There's no way I can lose 10lbs (unless I wake up weighing 171.

I have a weight goal in mind not a number.

So I'm paying to be an observer with a added on pledge.

Nature,

We would love to have you aboard, and know that you really don't need much help with your svelte physique.

I think if you were involved, we would definitely have more female participation, especially if you posted up that pic of you in the Borat thong.

Could we just have you participate with an end goal of 6, and 1/2 way of 3?

OK if that works then I'll play.

I just ate a vegan bacon cheese burger with fries. Beer with it.

My goal is 159. So whatever I weigh in tomorrow my half way goal will be half way between. Could be 6-8 lbs.

It's a pink snakeskin thong. P. Envy has the Borat Thong. I'll see if he wants to play.

As an aside....

One major gripe about the challenge is the 10 lbs. Some people wanted to lose weight but 10 lbs made them anorexic. So they talked about body fat etc. etc. Since we now don't really have any winners (everyone is a loser it just depends on if it's weight, money, or both ;-). I guess the ASCA is the only really winner. So this might be a way (setting a weight goal rather than a hard value poundage) of getting more people to loose some fat.

Where are the chix?

I'll send you that pict.

Nature,

Cool, glad that your playing.

How was the burger?

I am a Vagiterian myself.

I thought Tim had the little elf shorts with the bells on them?

Dude, you are the real chic magnet. If you are here, they will come.

HK,

Yes, and after scientific research supported by the ST Climber's Forum, it was determined that i did not have a girlfriend.

You need to lose any weight? If no, care to support someone who does?

Nature,

I am responsible for that middle picture.

If you remember correctly, that was at the Gordon Ranch, and i invited, and introduced you to 1/2 those chics.

And we know the rest of that story...........

Zip,

Actually, I need to gain some weight. Despite all the beer drinking, my gut is still razor thin at my advanced age of 48.
However, my upper body could use a bit more bulk. Maybe knott 10 lbs worth - just enough to tone things up a bit.
