Wild Bill... did you use the super-duper? seems to have worked rather well. I like spiners though you get more action with flies.

Thanks nature. It's "my first one" so I am rather proud. Already over 60, and only 5 or 6 are mine!

Lois, have you googled alestair (sp?) crowely? or read the sommerset Maughm novel the magician? http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/14257 and thought about why that name? did sweeney todd cut his hair?

In the words of The razor's Edge's' Larry, "It Doesn't Matter!"

Lois, thanks for still considering me to be Crowley. It's nice to know I still might win the "Who's Crowley's other avatar?" contest.

Of Human Bondage was my favorite, too (did you see the leslie howard Movie?) Thank goodness I only once had a girlfriend like that!

Speaking of human bondage, today I saw a bus with the following painted on its side: "S and M Charters." WTF is up with that?

I barely follow any of this but Crowley has posted that his first name was Michael and has signed off on certain posts with his initials IIRC. I don't know who he is, nor do I really care (he doesn't get me riled up like he does some of you I guess). But it doesn't seem like it's a huge secret. If he has claimed to know both Werner and Merry (two more people I don't know!) then I suspect from Werner's silence (based on my basic judging of Werner's character through his posts that he would not be one to let a lie regarding him stand unchalenged) that it is probably true, they do know each other and that said Crowley is probably his own person and just another interesting character in that local climbing community. Hope this helps you rest easier. :)

LOCATION EDIT: Please note that "3 hrs. from Seneca" puts me almost as far away from Yos as I can be without being in the ocean!

And there you have it. Sorry to have mistaken your name. As I said I dont follow too closely. I will admit I chuckle everytime I read the word "Bushbot" but I live in DC so Im sure you can see why it would be funny.

Deleted post edit: LOL now I look like I am talking to myself!

Poor Roman, another Crowley victim.

Crowley says his name is Matthew P. Moore. For whatever that's worth.

"Lois...talk to us...what's wrong???...the moving getting you down???...husband out of Viagra???...HOTFLASHES???...--Locker

Hee-hee-hee! Locker, you funny guy! You sure know your Lois. The only thing you forgot to ask was whether her desperate ploy for attention rather backfired when no one fell for the bait. No one cared if she off'd herself or not. In fact, several people were trying to help her along that happy path...but it was simply another Lois Red Herring.

Funny thing, watching Crowley, he's clearly brighter than those hounding him but they haven't noticed. Well, maybe Wild Bill has noticed.

LEB--Well, if you're using the Royal We, then yes, I would say you are a bit bitter.

But considering your happy homelife, I suppose I can understand. Done packing yet? Hubby left it all for you to do, didn't he? And with your inability to detach yourself from this site, there may be more fist-slamming and good-natured yelling when you don't actually get out of the house until '08.

That's OK, we all love your witty responses and oh-so-informative monologues. Seriously. Keep up the good work...

Chiloe,
I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. From what I have witnesses, he isn't all that bright at all.

You see, there are many sides to intelligence. Figuring out basic social interactions is one form of intelligence. And in order for a person to be regarded as truly "intelligent", that person must have an exceptional understanding of how humans interact properly.

Crowley interacts in a way similar to a teenager, despite the fact that he is nearly 50.

If you don't realize the importance of this basic form of intelligence, then I'm guessing you aren't that bright either. SO I suppose I'm wasting my time here. Sorry.

I see the attraction of his method.
