Al Dude, I'm not sure what's worse in that last photo. Gerberding taking fall or Cosgrove wearing clogs!
What's this world coming to?

The heat wave is highly unlikely to last that long but it is currently 87 degrees at the Sushifest site!

What is an average temperature range for mid April, historically speaking?
I'm not worried. I know it won't be humid air like out here when it's hot.
And...when do the particpants get the low-down on locale? i want to check it out online and see where it is I am going to.

Nature - are you sure you know what your asking for here? 50 people on a 3 day tour?
Seems like a ton of work for you, mother Nature and whoever else you "lure" in to help you. What happened to the 1 evening of sushi?
Don't you trust us to brew or own cuppa joe and lunch?
Still time to rethink the plan. 1 night of sushi will still give you a few days of fun without the prep, roll and clean up duties!
Just a suggestion.

Two nights it is. Last year I did a three day event at the Pine Mountain Amphitheater. I know how much work it is. The massive amount of work is part of the plan - I'll get my system really dialed and two days gives me more time to work on things.
Now... I didn't say *I* was making the coffee or breakfast. Ya'll's know how to do that so plan on helping that way.
and it's not really three days of serving up sushi:
checkin to campsite friday around 3 and start making sushi
group coffee/breakfast saturday
lunch saturday - you make it
most of saturday afternoon I'll be making sushi (showing tips with folks that want to learn). Brutus and Ron also roll so we can trade tricks, etc.
Sunday breakfast/coffee - group helps
People are traveling a long way and may not be able to stock up on food. I figured I can atleast do the shopping. One of the folks attending the event works at the local baker. The bread is awesome and will be cheap. It'll be up to ya'll's to actually make your lunch.
And I'm going to have such a variety of fish it'll be tough to get it all out in one night. Friday night won't have as much variety as saturday. We'll have time to get our ducks in order.
Plus I'm getting in on Thursday morning and staying until Tuesday. I'll have more than enough time to climb.

Yeah.
Everything will sort of work its way out thanks to having a crowd of "get-it-done" kind of people.
I'm looking forward to working on some custom rolls and trying to lay out some aesthetic presentations.

All right, you guys convinced me. I've never doubted that you could put on a fantastic event and achieve all your goals. My biggest question was.....why bother? I've seen you work for hours at our house making sushi and that was for groups a fraction of the size.
Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the good eats and fun times. $$ in route.

Besides, Peganmonkeymanboy-would probably like someone to
