This place is like North Korea.
I heard they were going to put out a list of 15 Supertopo approved hairstyles. Anyone found with a banned haircut gets the chop!
PS: That photo of donini hiking across that snow pile that looks ready to fall down and kill somebody, gives me the heebie-jeebies too, ionlyski.

"There is a reason each of us are alive", I thought as I saw Jim below the white manure pile. Great pictures, Jim et al. I know this thread title means climbers as in climbing, but each of you have so many more components to you than just climbing and they are awesome.

^^^^ Agree. We aren't just "climbers". We are also folks who have experience on a large spectrum of things.

Probably much the same as it was before, but lacking some familiar faces and a significant trove of historical content.
I view it as a burned library:
Much of the content was lost, whole sections/authors have been destroyed,
but there is still some good stories left - maybe a few pages are singed in those...

Aeriq! Once again I find myself agreeing with your thoughts.
I view it as a burned library:
Much of the content was lost, whole sections/authors have been destroyed,
but there is still some good stories left - maybe a few pages are singed in those...
It is unfortunate the library owners had to burn it to save it.
An American tradition.

Seems Mouse, Fritz, and Marlow took the biggest and most consequential hits.
And by extension, so the rest of us via those purges of material.
Good to see you, Fritz, and Marlow are still with us.
Things are thin and the front page is moving slowly: not really a problem.
Not quite like tumbleweeds blowing through, but close. The mass defections are understandable.
I've always said I only need two other people reading and contributing to continue to generate content in any particular thread.
Quality over quantity!

Roy, good to see you still here.
This thread started as an idea to reclaim the original (no-link) lay-out of the threads.
A phoenix of sorts - just post what is allowed, and the spice will flow.
Maidy is stealing my pics - damn community property!
